Hi all, been ages since I posted on here so thought I would give it ago again!

As a huge fan of variety it was great to see some magic on Saturday's show, for a while I thought it was going to be a magic free zone. Loved David and Karen and based on what I have read on here and else where it looks as if they are through to the live shows?

Hope so as I have loved David Penns work for years, especially his TV stuff and various TV series he has done. If you want to know more about him look here - http://www.davidpenn.co.uk/

Just in case the link is removed that was his webite david penn co uk also loads of stuff of him on you tube.

Right the main reason for this post - I do really worry about magic/variety on BGT as it tends to get a bit of a raw deal, ok some of you will say "Well if the acts are bad they deserve it" which is fine, I worry more about the production values when a variety type act does make it through? Only mention this as I had a look at AGT on you tube and their magic/variety acts are light years ahead of anything we get to see, the tricks/stunts are the same, its the lighting, music, camera angles etc that blow ours away.

Be interested what anyone else thinks?

Regards

Bert
