Just interested. I'm 28 and fancy wearing cargo pants again during the summer, yet someone recently said I was too old to be wearing these now Bloomin' cheek.

So then, what age should people stop wearing certain clothes?

Never I think. As long as you don't look too over the top!

I'm 39, and my day to day attire consists of cargo trousers and a t-shirt.

My mum's 60 and has some for the summer!

I think it depends on the person - some people look odd in jeans once they're over a certain age, some don't (a lot depends on the style of jean though).

If you are female they would probably look fine as long as you didn't wear them with trainers and a boob tube. If your a man trainers and boob tubes are acceptable

I think combats are fine for all ages but it how you wear them or with what that makes a difference.

A woman of 35 in a mini skirt and a pony tail is a no no. And definitely never at 50!

Don't let other people dictate your wardrobe. I still wear Spider-man boxers and I'm 24.

I'm 41 this year and wear what the hell I like. Not having anyone dictate that to me.

Jeans n t shirt or nice top, fine. But I'll wear a pvc mini if I want to....

Oh yea, and I have a ponytail sometimes.

I wouldn't go for the burka mind you....

I occasionally see a lady on my way to work, looks to be in her 50s wearing the tiniest mini. She has good legs but she does look like she's trying a bit too hard. But hey if she likes it I love it!

If female of either age has good legs, then mini is ok to wear, and why not.

Ridiculous comment! Millions of over 40's wear jeans, and look just fine in them. Plenty of younger people in jeans who shouldn't be, with their underwear on show and in the wrong size usually.

Most of the teenagers I see wearing jeans seem to love wearing them halfway down their a**es!

Really cool look..........NOT!
