This occured to me after seeing last Saturday's show, and I feel this would be a good solution to stop some "Dead Wood" making it to the final 40:
All 100 or 200 so acts who made it pass the audition stages have their performances uploaded on to the BGT website and visitors have up to five votes to cast online a day providing they register with an e-mail addy. This equates to around 40% of the final vote.
The panel have their say on who makes it - This equates to around 40% of the final vote.
The other 20% is made up of a panel of past performers e.g. SuBo etc and they decide what they feel would be best to make it.
All the votes would be "totted up" and the top 40 would perform for the televisied rounds.
What would you think of this?
