The bump has absolutely exploded! Clearly it didn't want to give Mummy away before Daddy was in the loop. It's as comical as Debbie's revolving staircase. No idea why they sent Gennie off to bed, a wasted opportunity for some fun between the best and most believable couple in the show. Also, where was Nikhi's Best Man Speech? That could have been gold. Instead we got Marlon and Laurel, joy. I think we're already beginning to see Nikhil becoming over-protective. He really didn't want her carrying her bag of hairdressing bits and pieces and he's obviously burning up her mobile too. I really hope they keep this the right side of fun and give these two a bit of a break from the angst for a while. They need it and so does the audience. I think Rik's right that obstacles do tend to bring out the best in them but it would be nice to see them working together as a team to overcome them rather than constantly fracturing. I think there's plenty of scope for a sense of "us against the world" with these two. They make a great little team.

Telly-tot agree with you totally, I'm guessing Gennie went to bed to "illustrate" Nikhils overprotectiveness which has the potential to be ever so sweet, but only if it's written correctly. I expect however it to come across as him being too controlling knowing what ED is like at the mo. I thought it was lovely how he kept looking at her bump too! The BIB though while I agree with you this is down to our interpretation & reading between the lines as this hasn't been shown (a simple exchange along the lines of "stop phoning me you're driving me mad" would do). I don't expect it to be 30 minutes just of these pair (although I'd happily watch that ) but it would have been lovely to see more of the wedding & less of the rubbish like Laurel suddenly looking for Ashley or the loan shark drivel.

I wondered that too; there's been no mention of her whatsoever not even a phone call which is very odd when you think that she is Gennie's best friend.

They could have said something during the pub scenes last Friday when Jai showed Declan the scan photo he could have easily said something along the lines "Katie's really pleased for Gennie" but there was nothing.

Really odd. You would have thought they could have had at least one scene with Katie and Gennie given how close they are. Katie also loves a good old meddle and there would have been plenty of scope for that over the past couple of weeks.

I have just been on twitter and went onto the TeamMakarem page. Unfortunatley the people who run it are no longer uploading videos to youtube.

That's a real shame. I don't know why ITV don't try to find a way to work with the fans on this. If they found an inventive approach, it would surely be mutually beneficial. An official/authorised site linked to the ITV Player perhaps, which allowed fans to revisit favourite moments or episodes would be strongly supported and would be a vast improvement to the Emmerdale 24/7 project, which went nowhere.

I've often thought it would be a good idea for tv companies to store their old episodes of soaps & long running dramas on their websites & allow fans to open an account (similar to Amazon lets say) & charge fans a set amount per episode to download it (for example 50p) much the same way as you buy songs from the internet. That way viewers can check back on storylines (or watch old episodes repeatedly like we do!) The tv companies would make money from these old episodes so the websites would pay for themselves.
If only we ruled the world eh?

Been looking at the Forever Genhil uploads and loved the one where Nikhil comes into the office straight after a run and Gennie just stares open mouthed at him completely oblivious to what is being said and makes sure she walks closely past him when she goes to get him a coffee.

It is such a shame that Team Makarem will no longer be uploading scenes to You Tube as they uploaded some great stuff over the last year or so.

On another note judging by the previews for this week it looks as if Katie's back so hopefully we will get to see her and Gennie having a proper catch-up.

Maybe Forevergenhil will take over where Team Makarem left off that is if they don't get the boot The trouble with Team Makaren was they did'nt go back far enough and this ForeverGenhil is starting at an excellent point in the Genhil story, I used to watch all this early stuff on EDepisodes before it was booted off ytube thats when i started using thebox.
If any of you are signed up to the ForeverGenhil channel maybe you could ask them if they could do the episode from 31st december 2010 which has Gennie and Nikhil singing karioke together in the wooly, This is an hour long episode which features numerous storylines and unfortunately the few Genhil scenes only amount to around twenty seconds but is extremely cute and well worth seeing, They obviously had something planned for them, Gennie was allready working at the factory and two months later she started in the office and the rest is history as they say,
The song they sang together at the time did'nt mean much, But later became very appropriate DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART
