Oh I do hope Gennie gets her man! I must echo the comments about Sian. She was totally believable tonight. She acted her socks off. I can't praise her enough.

This is my favourite storyline in the world of soaps at the mo (granted I only watch 2 soaps!)

Ta for this, I hadn't seen it. I like the way they're referring to Gennie and Nikhil as "Genhil" too . Any interviews with Sian (or Rik) are welcome here. I missed her on This Morning and I'm raging. If anyone has a link to that it would be much appreciated, although I think they stuff they covered in the interview was dealt with in yesterday's episode

To be honest- I am just glad that Sian and Rik have been given a proper storyline and the more they are onscreen the better

Am exhausted from the Aaron show- Danny is a great actor but his character is overused, he has ben crying for months and this is going to turn people off him

I am delighted that we are going to have something else to watch

I'm still waiting for Nikhil to grab her intensly in the factory and kiss her passionately, before throwing her onto the conveyor belt where she rips off his shirt buttons with her teeth .

Too much to ask?

I am loving Gennie at the moment (is that a shock coming from my mouth? ). I know people fear she is becoming trapped in the 'fesity young female set to ruffle a few feathers' manority which rule pretty much the whole female cast, but she's really only being like that with Nikhil, and rightly so, considering how strongly she felt/feels for him and how harsh he insulted her. Then we saw her in scenes with the likes of Katie, Charity and Ella where she's back to being her quirky, innocent, misunderstood self.

Nikhil's going to regret rejecting Gennie undoubtedly and soon I bet we'll see him grovelling at her knees trying to win her over, and hopefully Gennie won't take too long to accept him instead of giving him the cold shoulder for a while until they finally get together. The other stories are repetitive enough as it is. We saw a bit of old Nikhil creep in when he offered to buy them drinks. Here's hoping!!

I loved Brenda's insight into Gennie's life tonight, referring to her as "my little onion" and that she used to play netball . Maybe Nikhil should watch out in case she can manage a good whallop!

Loving this thread, can't believe I still haven't caught up. All this Gennie and Nikhil action and s**t I'm still on the scenes where the mercy killing is about to happen. F**k me, my favourite 2 characters and I'm months behind. What a flaming doris.

Anyone notice how it bothered Nikhil that Gennie was talking to Jimmy? I thought that showed us he does like her!

The scenes with Jimmy and Gennie were actually quite good but still hate seeing them together. It should be Genhil, not Jimnie? I loved drunk Gennie though

Jai's face was hilarious- he was looking at him like 'you're a muppet'

He seems to be much more upset about falling out with Gennie than the end of his imaginary relationship with Chas

I was dreading the Gennie and Jimmy but those scenes were hilarious- low self esteem and a lake of wine- what could possibly go wrong

I enjoyed drunk Gennie with Jimmy more than I expected. They were very sweet and funny I think that they are going to fall asleep together, nothing more. No doubt there will be a misunderstanding about what happened which will make Nikhil even more jealous. He is already starting to miss Gennie and didn't look to pleased at her drinking with Jimmy.

I agree he was so upset about what he said to Gennie and upsetting her more than Chas dumping him, kind of sweet.

The way he mentioned what is she doing with Jimmy and kept looking over and his brother was like what the hell are you doing, your not supposed to be interested in her lol!!

So sweet the way Nikhil was with Gennie, they are so getting together and I think it will be very soon!

Some good scenes tonight

Not sure Nikhil is all that thrilled about Jimmy and Gennie

She could probably have gone home and had a shower rather than the walk of shame- he was hardly going to sack her- was he

He definitely clocked that she was still wearing last night's clothes straight away!

I adored that little conversation they had at the end, slighly awkward given JImmy was standing there watching

Awww, Gennie and Jimmy were sweet. I knew nothing happened between them.

Nikhil was adorable with Gennie today. He definitely realized that Gennie was wearing yesterday's clothes. I liked that he was very apologetic to Holly. I love how he tried to smooth things over with Gennie in the final scene and was fishing for info on her relationship with Jimmy.

It won't be too long for Genhil now. Are there any hopeful spoilers?

They are very sweet together. You can see they're both starting to ease up on each other now. The final scene was quite sweet. Nikhil investigating for information on Gennie/Jimmy was showing signs of jealousy. It seems he's already mad about her but he hasn't realised it yet. Silly boy!

In fairness the Gennie/Jimmy scenes were a lot better than I expected. If I didn't have my heart set on Gennie to be swept away by her hairy-chested chocolate prince, I'd probably adjust to Jimnie.

Still though, team Genhil!

I would rather Gennie told Nikhil nothing happened as now he thinks they are an item.

I get the feeling he won't admit to himself he likes her that way, maybe something to do with what his brother would think?
