Ay, a few. They seem to be back on reasonable terms again. I liked the scenes of them watching Charity making a fool of herself behind the window .

Hopefully not long now.

I'd rather see Gennie with Jimmy than Nikhil.

In fairness, Jimmy is more deserving at the moment because he's treating her nicely and Nikhil is still seemingly trapped in his new personality transplant.

Still though, Jimmy and Gennie don't really seem suited, but they could make good friends.

As Wildy said above (sorry, forgot to quote), getting involved with Jimmy means Gennie will have Nicola down her throat and I definitely don't want to see that!

Yeh as I've said here and elsewhere- Jimmy doesn't really like nice women- look at his exes- Sadie, Kelly, Nicola- a nice girl like Gennie wouldn't stand a chance- plus Nicola would attack her

I have to say I don't think Nikhil is trapped in his new 2.0 personality- certainly not around Gennie but he's still seeks his brother's approval WAY too much

Charity is now plotting against him so I'd say he'll have a lot more than Gennie to worry about soon

Did Gennie and Jimmy actually have sex as I missed part one of the episode? I think nothing will come of it anyway. I think its all part of the 'making Nikhil realise he loves her plot'.

I don't think it was made very clear one way or the other in the programme.
However, Sian (Gennie) tweeted that they didn't - presumably she was getting a lot of tweets asking her about it

Both Jimmy and Gennie said that nothing happened. They did not have sex because they were way too drunk.

That's how I remember it too nothing actually happened apart from them drinking a brewery

Gennie made absolutely no attempt to set Nikhil straight even when he was fishing for information- she rightly told him it was none of his business

Surprised Nikhil was even asking questions- it's not as though he likes her or anything

It was quite sweet that Nikhil got a takeaway when he saw them in the cafe, he certainly seems to be acting jealous anyway ahhh

I have a feeling from reading interviews from Rik Makarem [about 2 weeks ago] (Nikhil), it might go on for a while yet. But just look out for spoliers, I guess .

Genhil may take a backseat over next few weeks with the trial:sleep: and Charity scheming to take over Nikhil's half of the business:sleep:

As long as the actors are given some scenes together I guess we shouldn't complain too much- after what Nikhil said to Gennie a few weeks ago- we shouldn't be expecting anything to happen too soon- she may have forgiven him but she won't forget too easily- and Nikhil doesn't appear to realise he might like her

I honestly don't mind of it plays out over a few more months yet.
I've been enjoying it so far - and there's not many other storylines taking my interest.

A slow burn getting together storyline might eventually produce a couple worth having together - rather than all these plot device couples we've had lately.

Yeah- I have to agree- it will make a change from characters getting together in the blink of an eye

and as long as they have plenty of screentime I'll be happy-
one of the few storylines at present that I'm interested in

I hope Nikhil will wise up to Charity's plotting and get her kicked to the kerb....I also hope he gets his kit off; he wears far too much for my liking

I presume eventually Charity's best laid plans will unravel but probably not before she turns a lot of the factory against Nikhil

I can't be bothered with Amy, Ratboy, Leyla 2.0 and the upcoming melodramatic trial of Aaron' the tears' Livesy

Sooner both Gennie and Nikhil are back on screen the better- even if we have to endure this daft Charity plot

'fraid you're not going to be happy with the next few weeks then Wildy . Unfortunately Gennie isn't mentioned at all. For some reason I can't see the spoilers for this Friday but I doubt she'll feature unfortunately. And next week will be pretty much entirely devoted to the 'most gripping event of the year' as Aaron and Hazel sit in courtroom repeating "its what he wanted" for the first four episodes, followed by the fifth episode which will leave us on the edge of our seats wondering if Aaron will be going down for murder as the evidence and strong prosecution argument suggests - despite the fact that Danny Miller has renewed is contract and is staying on for at least another year of being the most miserable person in the world.

In short, I don't think we'll be seeing any Gennie for the time being . I know Sian was on holidays a while back (although I didn't think it was that far back) so this could be the reason for her absence. Either that or the TPTB decided to put their story on hold because they were afraid Aaron, Hazel and Chas weren't getting enough screentime.

Danny is so can't see him going down- what an irrelevant farce this trial is going to be

Gennie isn't seen as one of the main stars so she may still be in episodes even if she'd not in the spoliers- hope they don't disappear for weeks- surely she'll have to be in some of the office scenes as Charity makes her power grab at poor Nikhil's expense

I've not seen any Gennie/Nikhil in the latest spoilers, jfc how long are they going to drag it out.

I don't mind waiting as long as we get proper build up but when we get a good week of scenes and then after that it's weeks before they share another scene it's kind of annoying.

I have lost interest in EE since Gennie and Nikhil haven't been on. I hope their story picks up soon.

Haven't seen many/any spoilers for them either. I think they'll be in the background for a while with the trial coming up. I know I read something about I haven't heard anything about that spoiler since though so maybe I'm just going crazy .

I wish this story would take centre stage, but realistically it would probably get too repetitive if they did. I suppose Gennie needs time to get over what Nikhil said to her!

I think you mean ED? I do miss them too . It was nice seeing Gennie for a few scenes on Thursday. Nikhil is sort of getting a good bit of screentime now though (bar this week) so at least that's something. His ongoing feud with Charity will hopefully bring him (and Gennie!) back on screen soon.

LOL! I definitely meant to type ED. This Nikhil/Charity feud feels to fake for me to care. I think they have run out of things for Charity to do so someone came up with this idea from thin air. Why on earth would Jai kick out his younger brother from their business in favor of any woman much less Charity who he has known for a hot second? Maybe Gennie will find out and work to help Nikhil take Charity down.
