After watching the episodes again i cant beleive how they have written this story i mean we had brenda and gennie fall out but never saw them talk about it but now brenda is giving nikhil a chance we never saw georgias reaction to it we were just made to believe that she was ok with it also the fact that the nicky and nikhil scene in the pub never seemed to be resolved and now nicky has just left off screen and the fact that we are meant to believe that gennie is sulking because nikhil didnt come round and they try and tell us there were no cut scenes really

Well summed up. There must have been a cut scene I don't know why @richellis told me there wasn't. If there was no cut scene, then the scene is coming up or the pic must have been staged. Those are the only 3 answers I can see and I just wish they would tell us which one it is and stop treating us like idiots. Still waiting to see if I hear back from the Emmerdale production office.

Great news about the future Nikhil and Gennie scenes but it doesnt make sense about the false pictures?!? I was looking forward to that scene, it would have been of high comedy value I reckon!

GAH! If there was no deleted scene then the pic was staged or the scene is to come. Those are the only options left. I just keep wondering why the pic would have been staged it makes no sense and seems such a complete waste of time.

Seems daft to me. I would love that scene to happen tonight but somehow I doubt it very much and even though I don't want to believe we are being lied to, I feel the scene must have been edited out, because otherwise Georgia found out about Genhil off screen.

On the plus side @emmerdale has said there are 'some amazing Genhil moments to come' which makes me verryyyyyy happy. At least we have something to look forward to.

Yay for amazing genhil scenes the thing with the pictures is that there was more than the one picture so it seems abit silly to go to all that effort if it was just for staged photographs

Yeah I know I have seen 3-4 pics of this scene. Well tonight is the last day the scene could come up because it was included in the spoiler pics for this week. If it is not shown tonight then I don't know what's going on. I like the idea though that someone mentioned that the scene could be Nikhil and Gennie making up after yesterday.

Gah I've found out that Gennie sung in the church choir on 11th Dec 2008 but I cannot find the clip anywhere. GAH! I can just about remember the scene but that ain't good enough! Oh well. Would be wonderful to hear her sing this Christmas.

I've just tweeted a reply to that!! Fab news that there'll be LOADS more Genhil scenes but what about an explanation for the spoiler pic we're all talking about. If it was a staged photo then why can't they just tell us that so we can move on ?!!! Sooooo frustrating!!!!

Just had a tweet to say the scene was probably edited out due to timing. Wish they would just put us out our misery and put the unedited episode on ITV player for us already!!!!! We've complained enough about it!!!! We shall just have to persist until we get what we want!!!!

EXACTLY!!!! We've been diddled out of a scene that probably would only have lasted 30 seconds but meant a lot to us, over 15 minutes of complete drivel

I know a couple of minutes of genhil or fifteen minutes of adrian chiles waffling on i know which one i prefer

Lanibob have been following your tweets on twitter. I like the tweet from @TheEmmerdaily that says us Genhil fans will forgive @emmerdale (for the scene fiasco) when we see what is to come. That has me intrigued now. Plus @emmerdale says there are some 'amazing Genhil moments to come' I hope so! Can't wait.

I know. It gives us hope. I want lots of cute Genhil romantic scenes and a few good comedy scenes because Sian has tweeted recently that she has been filming them with Rik.

I'm beyond excited!!! I'll be wishing the hours away until 7pm every weekday from now on!

Lol. I dunno if we will see Gennie tonight I hope so but we will see Nikhil and it would make sense to see Gennie too but dunno if the writers will have thought of that. I think these good Genhil scenes will begin again from next week from reading the spoiler for the 29/11. . Will have the video recorder at the ready.

Hi Everyone !

I've been thinking about my favourite Genhil moments. Obviously the 'big kiss' is right at the top of my list, but there have also been a huge number of other little scenes which have pulled at my heart strings !!

1) the passionate kiss and clinch when they finally got together on Monday, when all of their pent-up feelings erupted

2) the little kisses in the pub. His gentle tugging of her hair , her smiling up to his dark eyes and playing with his shirt.

3) their little banter over the tea and chocolate fingers in the factory when he talks about his pants and she talk about her 'runs' The scene ends with him staring deeply and longingly at her with his puppy dog eyes and whispering "..Thank God.." about her not holding grudges.

4) a nervous Nikhil waiting in the pub for her. His face lights up when she walks in. He smiles shyly and looks downwards whilst she puts her hand on his. He then holds her hand so tightly that he looks like he'll never let go of it!

5) A rather sad-looking Gennie hugging Nicky (as he tells her he loves her) but staring at Nikhil. Nikhil looks wistfully at her with sad, puppy dog eyes


These are all recent events. I think from over the last few months my other most favourite scenes were when Nikhil and Nicky were jogging and talking about who Nicky thought was cute. They were looking ahead at Gennie and Katie and Nikhil just assumed that Nicky was talking about Katie. I think this was one of the first times that Nikhil looked at Gennie differently.

Sorry about the long post ! I seem to have got carried away in the moment !

Looking forward to seeing them together at christmas time! It'll be so sweet and I know that Nikhil will be too adorable for words! I wonder if TPTB (Yaaay!, I know what that means now!! ) look at forums like these and see what the fans are saying and take note. If they muck this fab couple up I'm not gonna be held responsible for my actions!!! It's the first time in a long time that a programme has given me a wee lift and left that feel good factor. They'd better not ruin it

What I would love to see for them, is a nice romance ending in a wedding that is just a nice normal wedding with no major dramas.

I loved the bit in the pub where she was playing with his shirt as he was playing with her hair.

And I love the part where he murmurs 'Thank god' to her gah the way he looks so intensely and passionately at her. Gah will have to watch that scene again after I have finished typing this. HOT.

Loved the part in the pub with the hand holding. Her fingers seemed to go white he was gripping it so hard. He never wanted to let her go. CUTE!

I remember the scene with the boys jogging and Nicky saying Gennie was cute, because Nikhil stopped and looked at her and I remember thinking BINGO HE'S REALISED HE LOVES HER. Rik said in an interview that Nikhil realised that he had loved her all along. Which we could all see.

The scene from a week ago in the pub with Nicky telling Gennie in the pub he loved her was full of chemistry and pent up feelings between Nikhil and Gennie. I loved the way she hugged Nicky but looked desperately at a teary eyed Nikhil and the way she looked at him before leaving, you could see she was so torn. Note to self: will have to re-watch that scene!

Maybe the whole Charity/Jai wedding will fail to materialise on the day, for some reason and Gennie and Nikhill will step into the breach.

BIB - I know it seemed it took forever for him to realise what his feelings were !

I also loved his face when he was jogging with Nicky and they ran into Gennie in front of the factory. Nicky gave Gennie a hug and kiss and there was talk about Nicky going round to Gennies to have a shower! A jealous Nikhil piped up that Nicky could shower round at his as he had a clothes dryer!!

I know what you mean about rewatching the scenes and having little moments of squeeing and inward smiling !!

I have loved this story but like others was sightly disapointed we never got to see the reactions of others. With the exceotion of Brenda everyone else was off screen,

I was really looking forward to seeing Jai and Charity find out, The Sharma's parents but also Katie and Chas. I really wish they would do more with Gennie and Chas being sisters. So polor opposites it would make a great dynamic seeing Chas more protective of her.

But love that they have built up the Katie and Gennie friendship more than ever this year and shame we never seen her onscreen reaction too.

Emmerdale is not the only soap to have off screen reactions and everytime is annoying. Other than that loved everything else about this story.
