IMDB & Wikipedia should NOT be considered reliable news-sources, at least until after the episodes have aired.

You'd have more luck getting 'Spoilers' from Tea Leaves.

Admittedly my memory's a little fuzzy, but didn't the regenerating girl have an American accent?

Lucy Saxon seems to have a pretty solid backstory, according to the events of "Utopia"/"The Sound of Drums"/"Last of the Time Lords" (whichever one it was that Lucy had the interview with the journalist), that marks her out as an Englishwoman.
