I felt a tiny bit sorry for Susan when everybody decided to gang up on her mid-task, but I could understand their frustrations. She'd bigged herself up but transpired to be a poor saleswoman. Shoppers coudn't get away from her shrill voice fast enough.

Abit like people believing in the Rapture being peed off because God didn't send them off to heaven and them being angry at Camping IMHO.

They were sheep with no clue, blaming the shepherd.

End of the day, Susan was at fault big time and would have gone had their team lost. Think about this, someone who has a background in this field offers at every chance to have her say in it only to find out she hasn't got a clue, you wouldn't employ that person at all. The Project Manager did the right thing every time, the first telling her how much she wanted was way over the top (proved to be correct) and that she made a mess and really rather than complain about it, should have fixed the problem (which she didn't).
Someone isn't pulling their weight, you tell them no point leaving it to the board room and say it then, it makes that person look weak.

Susan looked really bad. She said many times how this was her business and she knew what she was doing. She wanted to go with 72 bottles and the PM made the decision to go with 35. When they got off the phone, Susan was like "this is a mistake, we could've sold more". Unfortunately though, she over sold her skills and when it came to the practical side of selling the product, she was awful! If I was approached by her in a shopping center I'd run a mile. She kept complaining how it was unfair that she was getting blamed for too much stock but she brought it on herself. In her favour, it was Susan who clinched them the spray tan.

Susan made a big mistake but she is sweet, and only 21. I hope she does better next week.

You're right I guess. I just found the scene in the shopping centre a bit ugly. I'm too soft for my own good!

Susan is a liability, and she should have admitted she was in the wrong. This will be a good lesson for her (if she's not too stubborn and immature to learn from it).

I thought Felicity came across really well on You're Fired. Not only could she admit her mistakes, she seemed to really learn from them. She identified all her weak points and how to overcome them in a constructive manner. She's only 23 and I think she will do well in the future.

I'm not convinced Zoe was being constructive. Saying, "You've made your bed and now you have to lie in it" isn't going to help Susan sell more.

And I don't agree that Susan wasn't pulling her weight, if by that you mean she was lazing around. She seemed to be doing all she could to sell. She didn't lack motivation. Telling her to try harder wasn't going to work. What might have helped was talking to her in a more positive way, try to find out what was different about her business where she was successful, and see if they could replicate that. Pull her off sales for a few moments and give her a chance to think, without having to be defensive about it.

I don't want to be too negative about Zoe because I thought she did well on the task and nobodies perfect. But it's hard to see what she was achieving other than venting her own frustrations and fears, and pinning a big "board-room fall-guy" label on Susan for everyone else to see.

Susan acted very babyish. I have gone off her and wouldnt trust her with 250k. How she has succeeded till now we will find out in the interviews. Something just doesnt seem right with her.

My main problem with Susan is that she wont admit when she's made a mistake. Not sure if this is her game plan or she genuinely doesnt think she made a mistake but either way it will come back to bite her in the arse! If she wont admit to mistakes in the boardroom and outright deny them Lord Sugar (and the other contestants) will be down on her like a tonne of bricks. And more generally, in life she needs to own up to mistakes in order to learn from them and improve her buisness.

For whatever reason (pressure maybe), Susan hasn't been able to adapt her selling technique to these tasks. When approaching customers, she comes across as too needy and in-your-face. I wouldn't buy anything from her. I think it's inexperience. She's a sweet, enthusiastic girl, but she's way out of her depth.

Maybe she is the modern equivalent of an Avon agent, brings a catalogue into where she works, hands out, folk buy some crap, she makes some commission and thats her business
