She was particularly crap but I did feel sorry for her

The likes of Natasha and Zoe would rip her to pieces

But she's safe. She has her own business and LS wouldnt fire her. No one would ever bring her into the boardroom. After tonights episode I am beginning to wonder though. The Brand also had his own business and that according to LS kept him to the end.

On paper, Susan's the ideal winner - Sugar invests in the youngest candidate, thereby giving hope to and inspiring all young entrepreneurs out there. It would be the perfect story.

But she's blown her chances.

And in the boardroom, you get the impression she'll argue she's right til she's blue in the face.

She was good last week, where it mattered. She made a mistake this week by blowing her trumpet a bit too much, but I have a sneaky feeling about her. I think she'll go to the final 4.

I call her Susan Wa

She's such a crybaby. Can't bear the 'it's not fair' type and she's done that twice now.

Gladly, she seems to have learnt that people in the house are not, and will never, be her friends especially when it comes to the boardroom. Therefore, accordingly, I expect her to put up more of a fight and stand up for herself instead of looking so shocked and hurt for words on this occassion.

I've found every one of Susan's performances so far mixed with me weighing towards the negative more these last two weeks.

For example, last week she organised her team far better than Gavin did and got some praise from Nick. However, the negotiations of her sub team were the poorest negotiations of the lot and almost cost her team the win bearing in mind how badly Gavin's team did on the amount of products purchased. She was saved by the performance of Jim's sub team.

This week there is no doubt she was the main reason they got the tanning treatment as it was her reaction that was the key factor and it was the treatment which sold the most. However, her advise to Natasha undeniably proved incorrect and she was bound to be deemed as the most knowledgeable on selling beauty products and she was very confident in her view. Natasha actually comes out with alot of credit from her PM performance IMO, it's the best I have seen this seres(which is not saying alot IMO). Felecity followed in a long line of bad losing PM performances.

She had a lucky escape this week and last week by being in the winning team . Zoe would definitely have brought her into the BR . She was too much blowing her own trumpet tonight . If she'd watched any of the previous series she would know such behaviour will only lead to an almighty fall.

She's supposed to be a successful business woman but she's shown in the tasks to be very naive, immature, too impulsive .
Listening to her last week saying the ridiculous low prices she wanted to pay and the high prices she ended up paying.
Tonight all the boasting of how much she was going to sell and what she ended up selling.

Its nice to see someone so optimistic but you have to balance that with a cool business head . She is very young and has plenty time to learn.

And Helen, as we saw also.

I think Susan will get ripped apart by whoever she is in the boardroom with, female or male. Do you think the likes of Jim and Glen won't want to do the same to her too, of course they will! She's a great target in the boardroom because, as we've seen in the tasks now, she has a problem with expressing herself and being heard (as just two of her flaws). I think a little panic button goes off inside her when she feels up against it (or cornered, as was the case with Zoe and Helen etc) and that is a weak spot that all the candidates will be looking to press at any opportunity they get.

I would guess that because she started her own business from a relatively young age that it is possible (with working for just herself till now) she is lacking the experience of, not just working with others but maybe also facing scrutiny for her own business skills and the way she works. I have no idea of how much she has sold (from her own beauty company) but if her profits are good (by her standards) and she likes the figures then perhaps it is the case that she doesn't tell herself off that often (as is contrast to the environement she is finding herself in now). Obviously she has plenty to learn in business and at still just 21, I'm sure she will. We might not see those changes while she's still in the Apprentice but I'm sure after the show that her experience on the tasks will form a (steep) much needed learning curve for her that will turn her a better business woman than she is right now.

Well I'm glad she knows the score now.

If it was Zoe's team that lost in this task (task 4) then I would have feared for Susan, as she seemed shocked and highly offended at being criticised and didn't really speak up for herself in the boadroom indicating she isn't prepared when it comes to the crunch (in other words, she doesn't have any boardroom strategy).

I'm glad she realises that there are no friends in this process and how one acts towards her at the house or in the task will be totally different in the boardroom.

So I'm glad she had time to realise that without being in any danger of getting fired.

I feel she'll act accordingly and start to speak up for herself. It's also a good lesson learnt for her that even though she may feel overly-confident in a task, she needs to be well grounded in her decisions.

Lastly, I think she's far more likeable than the likes of Zoe, Ellie, and even Natasha, so she's got something going for her that some of the girls don't.

If Susan had been more mature, she would have realised that the rest of the team were laying the groundwork with their dig at her in the shopping center.

If it had of gone pear shaped, the knives would have been out big time.

I do like Susan because she is not a backstabber. She got it wrong but the selling products face to face to the public is not her thing.
That team felt very clicky with Zoe and her lapdog Helen in charge.
Susan and Ellie are my favourites of the women candidates.
I think Susan will go to the final four as well.

It wasnt just the fact she got it wrong but her stubborn refusal to admit she had. She HAD basically said she could sell 60 products on her own and this is the danger with Susan. Its all very well giving out this air of confidence, but you also want someone who realises that the s....t is hitting the fan and being able to admit your mistakes so you can turn it around.

I think Susan is toast despite what others here think.

That was Zoe. Felicity brought Natasha back into the boardroom.

Just goes to show that these two are so nondescript that even being PM doesn't make them memorable.

LOL true ....... and if going down halfway through the task to mock a team member that she couldnt sell makes her a great PM, well then Im glad I dont work for the poster who made that comment.

Natasha and Zoe seem to be the same type of candidate to me, nondescript is a good word to describe them.
They concentrate on putting others down to make themselves look good.
Natasha is all talk and last night in the boardroom she proved it.
She didn't give Felicity any advice on the actual task when Felicity was clearly losing the plot in managing.
Zoe made a big song and dance in humiliating Susan in public but didn't get another team member to take over from Susan to sell the fake tan stuff to passers by.
There is a lot of game playing in this series. But Karen, Nick and Lord Sugar are wiser and can see through it.

Felicity was right on You're Fired - Zoe just wanted a 'public telling off' of Susan to make sure the blame was firmpy placed on her.

Yes Zoe and Natasha would tear into her in a boardroom fight but I think it would back fire and they would come off looking worse as a result.

Susan got it wrong on the amounts for sure, and did expect to sell more than she did. Not sure the amount issue was relevant at the point Zoe brought it up though! Zoe as PM should be looking for success from her team, not to rattle one of her sellers, further reducing her chance of making sales.

Anyone noticed that other than Edna and Susan, the girls do a power in numbers thing?

Her naivity showed there for sure.
I think she will be successful eventually, but not on this show.

I think Susan can handle herself, and if there is a ganging up situation then I can see Nick or Lord Sugar piping up in her defence. You can't accuse Susan of not doing anything which alot of other candidates have been accused of.

Right now I'm just happy with her dominating the screentime.

I agree on some posters saying that 'It isn't fair' was quite a poor response from Susan. And Lord Sugar was right; the fact that if Zoe did buy the excess tanning lotion they would also be heading for a loss.

Despite all this she has a been a crucial person for every task. She's not that bad at selling, she did pretty good selling the fruit in the first week.

Even though Susie has made mistakes and comes across as rather immature in the "It's not fair" way, I can't help liking her and wanting her to do better.

She works hard in the tasks and can never be accused of trying to merge into the background like some of them do (Alex, Glen, Zoe, Natasha, Helen). I think that fact alone will stand her in good stead if she finds herself in the boardroom, and she is well aware now (if she wasn't before) that they are competing for the same prize and its dog eat dog (did I really mean to say that LOL!!)

I have a feeling that Lord Sugar doesn't like it when someone gets made a scapegoat for the failure of the task (remember Baggsy's miraculous escape against Liz last year???) or when someone else puts down one of the others in an attempt to make themselves look good (Paloma??)

He doesn't seem to like bitchiness and the ganging up scenario.... I wouldn't mind betting that she would have survived the boardroom last night as Zoe was

a) a weak project manager - only to happy to defer to Susan on virtually everything, and
b) hid herself away in the treatment rooms doing pedicures, only emerging to give the person who was visibly doing more a ripping off in public.

Susan will be good at defending herself in the diary room
