Anyone that has ever sat an exam always has a look at the pastvpapers so you. Have an idea of what to expect.

So why do they never look at previous series and learn how to pass the tasks?
A
Last weeks shopping one is simple.

Take one hour, give each person one item to research. Demand at least two locations with stock and with the cheapest price.
Plot all items on a map. Split the team to go get them, in order of expense so that if you don't get the cheapest you only get a small fine. So when you.leave you know exactly.where you are you g and how much you are going to spend, any discounts re a bonus.n

Last.nights again, work out the profit margin and got for the best one. There is always.one item.in this task that is best one,.seen it with the paintings and fashion.last year, so you blow smoke.up the arse of the ones you want.

I thought exactly the same thing.

They either don't watch previous series or have their heads so far up their own backsides that they don't have a clue. I'm guessing the latter.

It's like any reality show, they all just think it's a rapid route to a career in the media, and will appear on any show they can to get their media exposure, they're not really dedicated Apprentice watchers.

That one with the horses teeth from a couple of years back, forget her name, but shes a classic example.

She gives it the whole 'I want to be a successful businesswoman, business is my passion, blah blah'. Then she turns out on some lame channel 5 presenting show.

So much for all that ambition huh?

Yes, Kate Walsh, indeed a good example.

It was odd that Felicity had not even thought about who she wanted to take back into the boardroom and then was suprised it had to be two people.
I don't actually think this group of apprentices are generally as bright as in previous series.
Anyone can set up a registered company these days and that seems to be their claim to qualify themselves as business people.
Apart from Tom and one or two of the others not many of them come across as sincere.
These candidates do seem a bit in it for the reality show fame that could follow rather than wanting to actually work with Lord Alan Sugar.
example...Kate Walsh, Katie Hopkins etc...

Yes a probably fairly rich Kate Walsh now, more so than if she would have stayed in "business" dont see the problem.

Much as I like the guy, James Max from series 1 was as bad - specifically brought up in the interviews about how he would have applied for BB or any other reality show to get a media career, flatly denied it in interview and subsequent board room.
Where was he one year later? Presenting a show for LBC.

Like last night hadnt they watched the manchester episode you dont go three floors up and expect the public to follow you. Or about getting the product. YOU always have to be enthusiastic about every single product or you wont get what you want. Dont they know they need a name for a team why take so long to work one out why not have one ready. The same with the board room doesnt the PM know she needs two people or do they all think they win every time. And last night was a new one can you bring someone in based on previous tasks of having done nothing. Never say you had a good PM always say she was no good in case she brings you in afterwards, its too late then.

Isn't that what Susan did? She definitely told them to source multiple locations in the cheaper parts of town. It's not clear whether they are allowed to discuss price over the phone - a face to face negotiation makes better telly.

Last.nights again, work out the profit margin and got for the best one.
Again, that seems to be what they did. They both identified the best treatment but only one of them could have it.

I must add. Always be up and away as early as possible. LS always gets you on that. For the most part, most of the candidates are good at selling, get along well with other people, and like LS told one of them. If I ask you to build a wall I am sure you can do it. Whats missing is really they always have to be told what to do. Very few can just think for themselves. None are strategists. One must have a plan in business, and an alternative one if it doesnt work. The tasks so far have really been 'mild'. Buy this sell this. Make an app. Nothing really exciting. Last years candidates and all previous years that I watched were all much better. There was more life in them. There is nothing wrong in having an argument unless its a personal one. Havent seen any yet about tactics. All very drab. Why werent they dressed up for the beauty task. That always helps to sell products and certainly services. I dont really understand why cant both teams have the same products if they wish. It would even out the task. Well I dont expect more in the next few episodes. I have rather given up on it this year.

I think that part of the reason why Yasmina won over Kate, was because Siralan saw something dodgy in Kate. The year before, rumour has it and I may be wrong, he was not impressed to find out Claire had audition for Big Brother was suspicious that she was trying to use the show to propel her to "celeb" status and low and behold, you couldn't pay that girl to stay out of Heat magazine! Seems as though he was right about Kate.
