Why was Ellie blamed. They all knew or should have done that no one is going upstairs. Where were they all, on a different planet!. Or did they send hundreds up on their own and think they all arrived. I think they all ought to be blamed much more than Ellie. I think LS got it right. You dont stand about doing nothing waiting for something to happen in your own business. You go out to make it happen. They seem to think its the PMs business, they get paid by the hour, so why care as long as they're doing what they're told.

No, because that didn't happen. What Zoe said was that Susan had wanted to get twice as many bottles as they ended up getting. The only way Zoe capitulated to Susan's advice on the buying was that Zoe initially said that she wanted a cap of £500 on what they bought, but Susan managed to talk her up to £520.

They were all useless, so it didn't really matter. Ellie wasn't the worst offender, and she defended herself well in the boardroom.

Putting 3 of them on the 3rd floor was ridiculous, they may as be on another planet, unless they had no choice. Then again they had a choice of locations and Zoe as PM should have taken this fact into consideration. The same thing happened last year on one of the tasks.

I don't blame Ellie, Tom or Melody, I blame Zoe. As PM you have to be aware at all times how all parts of the task are functioning and she should have acted sooner .

I tnink you mean Felicity not Zoe What was unforgivable was that she shut Tom down when he was trying to point out the possible flaw in the 3rd floor locations.

Ellie certainly didn't perform her best on the beauty task but probably Felicity not having a proper strategy to transfer custom from downstairs to upstairs was part and parcel of the treatment area (and the treaters) having so little action at times. Ellie clearly needs to step up her peformance now though. Being in the boardroom certainly means that she will need to be abit more blatant about her role in tasks instead of just quietly doing going about it (which might have been an ok plan of attack before but now might just appear to others as a lack of contribution).

I still think she is a better candidate than Natasha and Helen (so far) and probably more level headed but she def needs abit more oomph to her performance level now and show more sign of involvement so that she doesn't become less prominent that say Helen, Zoe or Natasha.

I totally agree with you - it was Felicity's job to make sure that all of her team were doing what they were meant to, and to sort out anything that was going wrong. Ellie, Tom and Melody told her that no one had been in the treatment rooms, yet she didn't speak to the sales team to make them push the treatments - she was far too engrossed in selling the products.

Fair play to Felicity though - on You're Fired, she said that the reason she didn't bring Tom into the boardroom was because she realised that, if she had listened to him more, they would have been more successful in the task.

They couldn't leave the treatment area unattended. They should have been told when someone was on their way for a treatment, so that they could be ready in advance and possibly look out for them being nearby and guide them in. This would have highlighted the problem of people not arriving a bit sooner. Even so, the problem was brought to the PMs attention after about 1 hour and only 2 missed appointments. It was still down to the others to sell the treatments in the first place and that wasn't really happening anyway.

How well was the treatment room area signposted? Would a few simple pieces of paper on the walls help guide people there? Did the salespeople make sure that the few people who did book treatments, knew exactly where to go and had simple directions to get there. Eg it's on the 3rd floor next to shop X.

I agree, what does she actually do?

She didn't do nothing for 3 hours. After an hour, she sent Tom down. She had to wait to give him a chance to get results. Then she phoned. She was on Felicity's case so much that Felicity complained about her constant moaning. When Ellie reported problems, Felicity just heard moans and did nothing about it. Felicity was at fault there.

They still would have lost because very few treatments were sold and the number required to be sold to offset the losses on the products side, would have been way too high.

This seems to be the only thread about her. I think LS was wrong to sack her tonight. Its not that he has to fire two people. He already had one. She did nothing wrong and therefore should have stayed. There is plenty of time to sack her later for doing nothing. She has her own successful construction business, and employs men. I am sure she is the most successful of all the candidates. She seem reliable, honest and trustworthy. She was never given a chance not as PM or even on a sub-team was always relegated to the side lines. She is not as loud mouthed as the others but seems to have more common sense. A pity she had to go.

Agree with all of the above. I think a double-firing is written into the series at some point, but it didn't seem particularly necessary tonight, particularly as there was no definite win on the task; it's entirely due to (admittedly expert) opinion. I think Lord Sugar might regret using up his double-firing card if a team really badly stuffs up in the coming weeks.

On the other hand, I suppose Lord Sugar knows what he's looking for, and it isn't necessarily what I like in a person. *holds up 'HIRED'*

She did speak up. For example, when Vince came up with the name "Pals" for dog food, she was the first to say it had been used.

I think she was a bit unlucky this task was poor for her, and came after the previous one where she had been accused of hiding. On the other hand, she wasn't going to win.
