Haven't had one for years. Not too healthy as fruit goes when I had it as I used to dip it into a bowl of sugar with every bite

Tasty and tropical! I have some in the kitchen just now. Does anyone eat the skin? I'm not sure if it's some kind of kiwi-eating taboo, but I really like eating it all.

I have to say I find them a bit bland. I like fruit and try most of it but some things just don't do it for me. I tried a dragon fruit once. It looked impressive but tasted of nowt.

I eat it like a boiled egg. slice the top off and dig in with a teaspoon.
out of the people I know who eat them I am the only one to do it this way. A lot of people peel them and I know a few who eat the whole thing.

I love Kiwis, but they have to be ripe. If not, they aren't that tasty. Full of vitamin C!

Love them - I buy the packs from Aldi.
I tend to peel off the skin and cut the ends off before eating the fruit. |

You eat the skin....
![]() Give it as quick scrub under the tap and most the 'hairs' come off. Then cut the hard bits off the top and bottom and take a bite. You will be surprised. Its quite tart and has a harder texture, like apple skin, and makes a very pleasant contrast to the soft sweet flesh. And like most fruit, most of the best of the nutrition is in the skin. Give it a go, its really nice. |
