I have it on VERY good authority that as of yesterday Stella has quit working for Mr/Sir/Lord Sugar.

What do you make of that!

The actual job has always struck me as a bit carp so I'm not too suprised.

I think Lee McQueen is the only one, who lasted more than a year, and he has left. The jobs are pretty rubbish - but then so are the candidates!

Was he not up to her standard then?

I believe Tim Campbell (?), winner of the first series, lasted about three years before he walked. Not 100% sure of his name, but he was the former London Underground chap.

Well I think around series 5, didn't Lord Sugar say he had had 3 very good winners, obviously excluding Michelle.
So it seems he was happy with Tim, Simon and Lee.

Didn't Simon Ambrose work for Loralun for quite a few years?

I wonder why she left if it's true. Is she pregnant? Michelle and Yasmina also left to have babies, so maybe Stella's following in their footsteps too.

No wonder Lord Sid keeps moaning on about maternity leave and woman of child bearing age being unreliable

I know, lol. He gets alot of stick for that but I can see where he's coming from.

I hear he has a super injuction to stop her blabbing.

Stella already had children and her partner was the one who took care of child care if I remember, so I doubt she'd leave because she was pregnant - maternity leave maybe.

Not sure what to make of that! Stella was my favourite candidate from the last series and I expected her to fit in quite well with Lord Sugar's company.

If would be interesting to know why she quit so soon as it looked to me that she would be using her new position to broaden herself in experience and wait for even better opportunities to jump on.

She didn't strike me as a quitter, so I think maybe a better opportunity already presented itself. I hope so for Stella.

She'd not long started. If true, hope she only gets paid what she worked and not £100K...

Well, Lord Sugar appears to disagree with you aussiedave, since he posted this on Twitter about 20 minutes ago:

"Some exciting news to share. Stella English last years Apprentice winner is now going to work with me in the exciting project at YouView"

Yet another wrong choice in winner then LAS, always thought she was a bit of a hard faced bitch with slightly inflated opinions of abilities.

Also feel she managed to get off with a lot of mistakes last year
