Fora 5 will be exactly the same as 3 and 4 in that they will give us more pointless car packs just to have another and another rivals challenge. And nurburg was a bad seller because it should of been in the game in the first place and hardly any work would of been needed on it coz they'd already made it in FM3. |

I wish I'd been able to put money on it.... Don't quote my post saying 'Exactly' and implying we share the same views. i may not be happy with the number of tracks but I see it as logical business sense to not pursue products that aren't going to make a worthwhile return. You seem to see it as a deliberate middle finger to the players. People have what's called 'choice'....the choice to not purchase the game or DLC if they feel they're being ripped off. I haven't read any reports of people buying this game under duress. I certainly haven't bought all the car packs or felt I had to, I've picked and choosed what I like, I can't see any issue with that. Free will and all..... So now you've sold off your xbox, commented many times how you're unhappy with the Forza franchise etc, is it fair to say you have nothing to contribute to this particular thread anymore??? Indeed why even look in the xbox threads? All this outrage can't be good for your blood pressure. We get it.....you hate Forza and you wish everyone else did so those greedy developers at T10 would go out of business...that'll teach them. I hope you realise that most people see it's you posting and just let your words wash over them. All games have faults, I don't think anyone has any issue with that, endless moaning though makes the poster look like they lack objectivity and clearly hold an agenda. |

![]() STEVE 03 I don't see the New York track coming back in a hurry as the main reason for it's exclusion was technical issues as it put a strain on the new engine for some reason. The original track without the chicanes would be great though I agree. |

Everyone else seems to have a nice genuine discussion about the game, and are able to highlight flaws without going on a tirade. You seem to constantly want to belittle the game at every chance and generally derail the thread into a T10/Xbox/DLC bashfest. You may have valid points, but please go and start a thread on the morals of DLC if that's what you want to discuss. It’s quite clear the people in here enjoy playing the game and want to discuss it, not the peripheral politics of what the developers and Microsoft are doing to increase their sales. Maybe you're unaware how your posts come across but endlessly slating T10/Xbox/DLC kinda feels like you're attacking every person in here who enjoys the game or is happy to pay for DLC. I don't make a point of singling out individuals but this has gone on for months now. I've also been on the end of few forum pasting's and realised I probably deserved some of them due to my words and tone of posting. |

Yeah it's worth getting but there is loads of dlc for it which can become expensive if you want it all. There's a season pass which gets you a lot of the dlc and a VIP pass that gets you some dlc at a reduced cost but imo, not all the dlc is worth getting. For example, some of the dlc you get with the season pass is rubbish but as it's part of that pass it's just as well to download it. Season Pass is 2400ms points. VIP pass is 1200ms points, Porsche pack is 1600 but reduced to 1200 with the VIP pass.

You can buy some of the cars individually from the car packs, unfortunately some of the 'must have' cars are reliant on you buying the whole pack. I've bought most car packs and realistically I've used approx 10 cars overall, it kinda depends what classes of cars you like racing. I like racing racecars so all the packs full of American muscle cars and lambo's etc are wasted on me, I'd say it's worth going for individual cars. The best DLC pack I feel (Porsche pack not included) is the March 'American Le Mans Pack'....well I think it was either March or February it came out! But i would say that as it heavily features R1 and R3 class cars.... It might be worth buying the basic copy and if you really want all the DLC cars etc sit tight and wait for the 'Ultimate Collection' to be launched. This tends to happen towards the end of the game when T10 are already moving their thougths ahead to the next evolution of the game. |

In case anyone missed it here is some gameplay footage of Forza Horizon in action here and also the new trailer.
Looks gorgeous, taking the FM4 physics model and implementing it into an open game world like this is so exciting. Dirt racing and day/night cycle is also confirmed. Cannot wait for this one.

Not sure if it will be as big and open as Test Drive though.
i liked the fact that with TDU, you had to drive to the dealership to buy a car, so hoping its the same here. |

This is a day one purchase for me. I love the cockpit view in this clip http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3...horizon/731506 the sense of speed is brilliant especially when he passes the first car and the screen shakes.
Also loving the sound and music. Can't wait. |

My thoughts of Forza 4 after spending a couple of hours on it.
Good points good range of cars good online nice looking Top gear track ![]() A lot more challenging Bad points AI still acts like it's on a Scaletrix track by constantly sticking on the racing line no matter what. Ai is overly aggresive and constantly rams you or cuts you up. No new tracks (that i've noticed) |

![]() I just wanted to quickly mention this month's car pack, it's the best one for me, the Beetle is so fun to drive and mod but so are many of the other cars, particularly the lower end ones and the ZR1 is a beast. |

![]() There are new tracks, how have you missed them? The Burnese Alps, Hockenheimring, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Infineon Raceway. The more you play FM4 the more you realise how it's a completely different game to FM3. |
