A Sony CM-H333 "mars bar" http://www.retrobrick.com/marsbar.html which was on vodafone I think back in 1993-5 ish and my cat used to love chewing the flimsy aerial! My then boyfriend worked installing carkits/phones (with their brick like batteries which turned them into tansportables!) so he sorted it for me

Mine was the mercury (one to one) M301.
Followed by the Motorola Flare.

Those were the days...

My first mobile phone was a Dancall DC1
on Orange Just Talk (PAYG) back in around 97/98
It boasted such advanced features as being able to recieve text messages (only recieve!) but that didn't really matter as text messaging wasn't even used back then

If you think calls are expensive now, back then they were a total p1ss take.
Orange Just Talk vouchers cost £17.63 and you got a whopping 15 Minutes! (thats £1.17p per minute )

It was very Ericsson-esque

A Nokia 101 from the now defunct Peoples Phone.

Bye for now

Paula
Got mine from there too. Peoples Phone - Where talk is cheap! They also used to provide you with a manky old loan phone if yours had to go for repair.

I remember when texting first came out, you could only text somebody on the same network too.

The first mobile I used was the Technophone PC205 as I was an engineer in the factory that made them near Camberley in Surrey.
