A Sony CM-H333 "mars bar" http://www.retrobrick.com/marsbar.html which was on vodafone I think back in 1993-5 ish and my cat used to love chewing the flimsy aerial! My then boyfriend worked installing carkits/phones (with their brick like batteries which turned them into tansportables!) so he sorted it for me

My first mobile phone was a Dancall DC1
on Orange Just Talk (PAYG) back in around 97/98 It boasted such advanced features as being able to recieve text messages (only recieve!) but that didn't really matter as text messaging wasn't even used back then ![]() If you think calls are expensive now, back then they were a total p1ss take. Orange Just Talk vouchers cost £17.63 and you got a whopping 15 Minutes! (thats £1.17p per minute )It was very Ericsson-esque http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgur...w=1192&bih=587 |

The first mobile I used was the Technophone PC205 as I was an engineer in the factory that made them near Camberley in Surrey.
