Hi TC & gang! Our network was down Monday, all day - from Sunday night tbh. Virgin.

Plus, hubby's been off since Friday lunch time - fortunately he went for his 'rip off' Christmas dinner/ works 'do'. Being a domestic engineer I'd have a lonely 'works do' wouldn't I?

Anyhow, then he's being going hell for leather removing a stud wall in the bedrooms we divided yrs ago & making a platform for himself to replaster the walls & ceilings. I know I shouldn't grumble as he does all the work but he thinks that between cooking, washing & ironing etc - I enjoy grafting under his strict rules! NO, I don't. I hate DIY - those days are gone - but he has to do it perfect as I'd pull him up on things.

You're right TC - we did the living room, bathroom & kitchen a few yrs ago - when we've finished upstairs ( we've - he: hubby has laminated it & strengthened the joists etc) I can now see downstairs needs painting!
