Retrospective

The only act I can remember is from the first show of auditions and that was the IT consultant who wore the orange fleece and trackie bottoms and accompanied himself on guitar and sang "Fast Car." Michael Collings.
I liked him as soon as I heard him and still after all the acts that I have seen and heard he's still my favourite.

He was crap just like the rest except for Les Gibson and that another comedian on the ITV2 show!

The one that I always think of first for whatever reason if someone says "BGT series 5" is Razy Gogonea.

The only one I can honestly say that gave me the moment where I stopped what I was doing and took notice was Michael Moral - the act and also the tune when it kicked in were perfect together and made me immediately say 'this is my favourite'.

Same for me too.

All the dog acts because I love dogs! Donelda's was probably the best overall but Pippa and Buddy were impressive because she had a great voice but he was actually contributing unlike some dogs who don't seem to want to be there! Mexican Madness was funny too!

I would have to say the Bruce sisters, I thought their routine was spot on and showed a talent that is rarely seen.

Mexican Madness and Ronan Parke.

My favourite this year is Edward Reid - the guy who sang different nursery rhymes to Leona Lewis' Run song. It was the last thing I was expecting and I couldn't help but smile widely when I saw him.

This year I can see it being an upset. Ronan Parke definitely won't win.

I think an outisder is where the smart money would be going.

I'm with the OP on this one. Michael Collings was awesome.

Razy Gogonea, the only one that has stood out or been original for me.

It's been a pretty poor series this year compared to the standards set in previous years.

This is the first year I've watched BGT and I am very disappointed. Where is the talent????? There are only a handful of acts I remember:-

David and Karen
Michael Moral
Razy
I liked a couple of the singers too but nobody blew me away.

the toast bloke - the rest are just dire and im afraid Britian hasnt got talent unless they are all giving this a wide berth.

Think you have hit the nail on the head about acts that do have talent giving the show a wide birth!

It hasn't been a particularly strong line up this year has it? There are one or two that I will remember when I see them again, but Razy is the only one that sticks in my mind

First in my mind are the magic act, then circus of horrors, then the two dog act where one dog wouldn't take part.

I liked Edward Reid and Razy but my favourites are Out of the Blue.

I'm quite obsessed with them now (lots of performances on YouTube).

Hello.

Some acts I saw at the Manchester Auditions stand out in my mind more than those shown on TV. Shame they show so many bad acts.
