Seeing the Pepsi/Coke post has prompted me to ask - what 'flavour' is Dr Pepper? - if my memory serves me correctly it is described as a 'fruit flavour' drink (or something similar) - does anyone know what fruits are actually in it?

I always think almonds but that may be the aroma.

It's a secret recipe, but I doubt there's much actual fruit in it.

Didn't realise that - it tastes like it is laced with battery acid sometimes though!

I was just drinking one when this thread popped up! It's a weird taste, bit rootbeer-ish.

I have never found that it has a taste of battery acid - maybe your nemesis is dipping your bottle into battery acid

It has similar smells to several liqueurs. You can make nice cocktails with Dr Pepper + Amaretto and Dr Pepper + Jagermeister.

Amaretto and club soda tastes like Dr Pepper.

I remember from my drinking days a cocktail someone made it had Amaretto, rum and beer, they lit it and you were meant to do it in one. Tasted just like Dr. Pepper. This would suggest that almond might be part of Dr. Pepper somewhere

Ever seen a Jumbo Jet landing? Screeching tires and such.
Well, what's left behind is scraped of the tarmac and used for Dr. Pepper. It tastes like that to me anyway.

I do not recommend the Doctor Pepper Zero or Diet or whatever it's called...it tastes like weak Bakewell tarts. Horrible.

Alas, airport security is so tight , it's impossible to do a good licking nowadays. Luckily I can still get my kicks on the local race track. Dutch Grand Prix coming up next month, so there will be plenty of opportunities afterwards.
Or I could open a bottle of Dr. Pepper and pour myself some liquid heaven.

Joking aside, Dr Pepper and Crodino are the only soft drinks I can't stand. Vile stuff.

Another one is called Dr Hunter's Elixir
1 shot peach schnapps
2 shots of Jagermeister
4 shots of Dr Pepper
