Things like this do happen in the retail business, you would be surprised at some of the behavior of some staff in the retail industry.

I have contract phones on O2 and Vodafone, had something like this happened to me i would of terminated my agreements with the company that treated me like s**t!

I purchased a pay go dongle from a T-mobile shop a couple of years ago then headed off to the O2 shop to purchase a pay monthly phone, i got some looks although i can only assume it was because of the T-Mobile bag but i look a scruffy git so it could of been because of that lol.

Nothing was said to me though!

On another note i was in the Vodafone store a couple of months ago and the service in there ain't too hot, three times i have been in there and three times i have had problems. In future i'll stick to the webstite!
I've always wondered if some stores are official outlets or some kind of franchise deal, seen some fairly cheap and tacky VF stores.

Have to say I'd be really shocked if it was meant seriously, I've been on Vodafone for years and service is generally spot on. As a Northern Ireland customer myself I'd say Vodafone and o2 are really the only networks to go with, the signal on the others just isn't up to scratch!

Which Belfast store was it? I used to always go to Forrestside but I work in the centre now and Royal Avenue is where I take my business, usually pretty good

I used to get a bit of that, my local shop was next door to a Tescos. They used to look at me funny if I went in there with a Tesco bag, but wouldn't say anything.

Get over yourselves shopkeepers, you don't own the only shop in the world you know! Maybe if you sold EVERYTHING I wanted, at a PRICE I wanted AND treated me decently, I may just come to your shop more often! Ever thought of that?

If you read my thread about their appalling customer service, it seems that certain employees of this company need dealing with for their attitude problem.
Yes i've heard some stories of how some of its bad mannered employees seem to be getting away with being just that!

Although i have never had this issue with them, i know others have. And i used to think they were the best network years ago, that was until i found the cheaper tariffs on the others. Then i stopped liking Vodafone. They still are expensive compared to the others.

I wanted an iPhone 3GS and noticed Vodafone were doing them with £59 upfront cost, 300 mins, unlimited texts and 500MB internet for £30 a month.

Three on the other hand were doing them with £49 upfront cost, 500 mins, 5000 texts and 1GB internet... Also for £30 a month so i took the 3 deal
