What I don't get is why neither of the teams opted for the Mailbox (when they were looking through folders you could see a photo of the exterior on one of the pages). Its the sort of place that women with a lot of disposable income and a bit of spare time shop. Would have been ideal.

Al though I suppose footfall is probably a little lower.

She came to the UK aged 13, having lived in Australia since she was six. Don't you think she might have picked up some English in those previous seven years down under? Even if they were only "barbie", "tinnie", "sheila", "mate" and "budgie-smugglers"?

I see you're from Birmingham so I guess you have probably been to Merry Hill?

It wasn't a bad choice, there are plenty of people with large disposals of income that shop at Merry Hill as well as less fortunate ones

It really was an Awful thing she said.
She tried to pressure sell at people we know that doesn't work.
I cant see her lasting long in this process her words are fancy but the deeds are sadly lacking.

Coming from quite an affluent area, you'd be surprised how overshadowed some rich people are when it comes to the less fortunate - one of my friends says she's shocked when she sees people don't have smart phones because they're 'not too expensive' So I don't think that comment's really a big deal - that said, if she'd've said 'people around here are so black' she'd probably have been chucked off .

It wasn't the comment that everyone appeared poor that I found outrageous it was when she said to the woman something along the lines of 'is it too expensive for you ?' That is seriously one way to get someones back up !!!!

Yet Leon did a great job of selling to them. He was approachable, friendly, flirty etc and the guys lapped it up. That thing with the little finger made me laugh. He knew how to approach people in a non threatening way and he did well.

She's Vice Chairman at West Ham. She wasn't hired to run the team and do the job of their manager; she was hired to help reduce West Ham's massive debt which, to be fair, she has done a good job with so far. Her role at the club has sweet FA (no, not that one) to do with their relegation.
