A few thoughts I would like to add, from someone who has not said much for some time, but finally with the ep on the 27th I think I might have something to say. I also have a habit of making commitments when everyone is safely asleep - so night, night!
Basically I get Christian’s insecurity and really appreciate; within the confines of the soap opera format they are exploring some of that. Unfortunately the structure being used to explore the issues is lots of yoyo back and forward, but I get what is at least being tried to be explored.
My fav bit of last night was Christian saying it was not just about the choice syed thought he had to make, it was more about the cost he saw both syed and him carrying to allow for recognition from zaniab and Masood. I have felt this in my own life, the balance between what one partner’s family is willing to tolerate and what another partner quite reasonably wants /needs to have back from a partner.
