Does any, erm, dedicated poster have a list of all the 28 year mentions? I LOLed when Syed said it on Friday, it seems to crop up on an almost weekly basis and I just can't believe it has not significance.
One of these days, someone is going to say it when Yusef's in the room, at which point he'll drop the bombshell that actually, no, 28 years ago, he and Zainab were still love's young dream.

Just after reading this I looked at twitter and there's a DS breaking news saying a couple have just got married after a 28-year engagement... something freaky is going on... what is it with 28 years all of a sudden?

I believe the first 28 years mention was the 17th January so if anyone hasn't got a life then they could always watch all the clips since then and look out for mentions

I *think* it was when Zainab and Masood were in the Vic celebrating their anniversary. No idea which month that was.
Here are the only ones I can remember:
