On my new BT Vision Rx the RF output appears to be non adjustable and it's only an aerial feed through so that I cannot feed the output from the receiver to another room, is this a software problem as there is an RF adjustment in the menu but it doesn't work but it is mentioned in the instruction book! It's the Black coloured Rx.

Can't answer specifically but many devices these days don't contain a modulator which is what you'd need if you want to watch via the aerial socket, all they have is "Loop through".Same applies to many Freeview boxes and PVR's so you'r stuck with Scart,HDMI or component connections. It may be that whoever makes the BT boxes also have a version with a modulator but they didn't change the software to remove this option in your menu.Apparently it's called progress. You can buy modulators that connect via scart and use one of those but obviously they cost money and as they're external it's another box to clutter the place up.

The silver boxes had this function but the it was removed from the new black boxes - like Radioman says, that's progress.

If you need a suitable box then there's a few around, this one should do what you want it to,it has Scart and composite video connections for inputs and of course the standard Belling Lee coaxial<aerial socket>output.Looks quite tidy and you change the output channel via a series of DIP switches.

Bloody progress eh.

Ooh, didn't know these boxes existed.

So, what kit is available to allow you to change channels on your Vision box from another room?

Thanks for the info about modulators, I have one of these but the problem then is that the TV aerial feed is then not fed to the other TV allowing different programmes to be viewed. I could split the Aerial signal, one to the BT box and the other to the other Tv but then it would have to be combined again with the output from the modulator to go down a single cable and there would be losses in the signal plus possible problems from interference
