Nope. Nothing seems to be on offer as a solution at this stage. Hopefully something will. I don't want to have to go back to Windows.

To be honest I moved from Nvidia to AMD and have not had any issues with the open drivers. Pretty much the same performance, but then I am some way behind the pack. I have no desire to buy a new card, and that wouldn't be a solution anyway to the family all running AMD GPU powered laptops. Can't very well tell them to go and buy new hardware because of the whims of this corporation and their inability to consider those who have already bought hardware.
Luckily, they do have Windows install on their systems so not that big a deal for them if they have to go back. They don't want to, but they could if needs be. But myself, I really don't want to consider options like this until I am sure it is absolutely necessary.
