erm are you sure they are betting odds for the final 40 as some of the acts in that betting did not make the final 40

Might stick a pound on Les Gibson 25/1 is very good odds. I'll be voting for him am hoping he gets a good slot.in the semi final.

I'm assuming that the bookies are not taking bets on Popeye as they think he's a dead cert to win?

Not sure they like Up and Over It either...

I really want to place a bet and win some decent amount of money. Any gamblers out there know who would be good to have a punt on?

Razy or Ronan would be your best bets, I genuinely think they are the only ones that stand a chance of winning this year.

I might ask my mum to place one quid on Ronan, Les, Steven and Edward.

If I made a bet, it would probably be on Edward Reid.

They've updated the list now so only the 40 are on it. Oddschecker is a good site as it compares the odds of the main gambling sites.

This is probably the hardest year to call. From memory, betting wise, in 2007 it was Pottsy or Connie. In 2008 it was George Sampson or Faryl. In 2009 it was SuBo. In 2010 it was Spellbound.

This year the bookies are expecting a solo male singer or dancer to win. Ronan is the favourite but not a strong one. We’ve not had a child singer win and I think this will continue to be the case. I think Razy and Jai McDowell will generate more public sympathy than young Ronan. The bookies agree that they have the public on their side already as they are second and third favourites.

For an outside bet, I'd go for an act such as The Circus of Horrors, which is probably the best act in the show and they're about 15-1. But people may not like their clear professional credentials and they're all a bit anonymous. Edward Reid out in the 20s might be worth a punt too.
Tough one to call though.

Can't believe New Bounce are so high in the betting (assuming they are the four young lads singing who only just got through last night). There are far better acts that them!

Yes, like brilliant dancer Michael Moral who for some bizarre reason wasn't sent through to the semis. Seems the show is not a talent show any more.

I'm kinda tempted by Two and a Half Men at 25/1....

I hate to keep comparing BGT to Got to Dance but this happened this year where perfectly good dancers, more than worthy of a place in the semis, were kicked out because they had to dance off against a similar and equally good dancer.

Glad the list has been updated. Half the names mean absolutely nothing to me shows what a 'memorable year' it is...........

No surprise to see Ronan and Rai up there. If anyone has money they'd like to as good as flush down the toilet, put it on Razy.

200-1 for steve arnold, should be 1000000-1
only way he's winning is if he terminates the competition

Got a feeling the bike man will win the heat. Ronan through by judges.

Lower. The bookies agree with the judges that Ronan nailed it. Joe's odds have dropped too.
