But you started this thread at half 9 this morning not at 12. I just think there was nothing to discuss about the semi final when you made this thread as you didn't even put a link to the line up. How can you discuss something that you don't know what's on.

It's been on DS since midnight so you could've linked it. I just think it should be made within a couple of hours before as there isn't really much to discuss as it has't happened yet and there are other threads on here to discuss it before it starts. This isn't really a show discussion as such, more of a specualtion/prediction of tonights semi and a discussion of who you would like to go through.

Personally I want the two borer collies to go through - they were my favourite dog act show. I like Joe as well, so I would like him to get through too and have two variety acts through. As good as Ronan is, I don't really want a singer to go through to the final as it's not exactly variety - he does have a good voice though.

^ That was well said.

I think you are right, many people have said that even if Ronan doesn't make it through to the final, he'll still have a big career. There have been many acts in the past who are contenders and yet they fail.

It is definitely confirmed, the line-up, by the BGT website.

And what you have said about the line-up already being on DS, I forgot to check that.

So here's the line-up for the rest of the semi-finals:

Semi-final 2
- Antonio Popeye
- Edward Reid
- Les Gibson
- Michael Collings
- New Bounce
- Out of the Blue
- Razy Gogonea
- Steven Hall

Who could go through: Razy and Michael

Semi-final 3
- Enchantment
- Follow the Right Path
- Gay & Alan
- Herbie Armstrong
- Marawa
- Mexican Mayhem
- Pip & Puppy
- Up & Over It

Who could go through: Follow the Right Path and (maybe, hopefully not!) Up & Over It.

Semi-final 4
- Angela & Teddy
- The Celtic Colleens
- Circus of Horrors
- James Hobley
- Jay Worley
- Jean Martyn
- Jessica Hobson
- Mr & Mrs

Who could go through: Jay Worley/Circus of Horrors and James Hobley

Semi-final 5
- Abyss
- Dance Angels Elite
- David & Karen
- Jai McDowall
- Nathan Wyburn
- Two and a Half Men
- Wachiraporn Tirpak
?

Who could go through: Jai McDowall and Two & a Half Men

So tomorrow night's show looks like the one to watch.

Omg. They have to swap some of Show 2 and Show 3 around, there's ACTUALLY too much talent in Show 2!

I know I'd change Razy and Edward with Follow the right path and Gay and Alan...

but they won't as they most likely want Follow The Right Path in the final to relate with the kids... :/

Are the line ups totally random or are they cynically 'organised'?

I know you might not trust Wikipedia, but that's where I got them from. It's in the table of the page for series 5, it does say in the row of the acts the semi-final they are in. They are not in order, when I wrote them above, and it's not confirmed.

I think the producers have made sure that their chosen ones will get through, by sticking awful acts who can still somehow get a shit load of votes (E.G Follow the right path)... into the final by making sure they have no competition.

Don't think they are random - they wouldn't leave something like to chance. Exactly what formula they use, I couldn't even guess.

Ah, so its only from wikipedia. Anyone could have created that. I notice that there is no references provided and no reliable news of this anywhere else. However, the source does seem to be correct about tonight's lineup. Who is updating this page?

Random people I think.

I'm guessing they must get the info from somewhere.

Why not reference it then? Its things like this that reduce wikipedia's credibility.

Safe to say Ronan's through

It's just a matter of who they want to join him

Most people that go on Wikipedia don't know how to. Thing is, no one is removing it, so they either must think it's reliable or it's too much work to remove.

It'll be confirmed every day anyway but the same thing happened today so they are highly likely to be true.

Anyone know who's the guest appearance tonight? or on any of the other shows?

Ronan is the chosen one for sure, he doesn't even have any competition tonight, he will win the heat with about 75% of the vote tonight.”

I agree - tomorrow is a stupid line-up. razy is bound to do well, I'd like to see Les go through as well but with that line-up Im not sure. Michael and Edward are popular. Out of blue will have their fans, as will Steven Hall. Not happy about that.

ronan will do well tonight, be very surprised if he doesnt walk it but not over 50% - not sure anyone has ever got much more than that in a semi-final. I think Paul will be more popular than is anticipated, he seemed a likeable guy. Not convinced the bike guy is going to get the votes, possible third place could be Donelda Guy or even Ted&Grace.

Anybody know the order for tonight's acts?

The order for tonight's acts is above, near the top of the page.

Spelbound did get about 62% in the semi-finals last year.

Considering it's a weak year they've put too many strong acts in tonight's semi final. I had the cyclist, the pianist, Ronan, the dog act and the fire dancers down as potential finalists.

Don't remember the names of any of these. Will just rate them as the show goes on.

Semi finals 2 and 3 are completely insane. There are at least 4 serious contenders in semi final 2 and none in semi final 3!

The chosen one, but he stands out from rest
