Heads up for possibly the best marvel cartoon since season 1 of the the old 67 spiderman. AVENGERS: EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES is on Saturday mornings on ITV around 8.00 am. it was made in the US last year and is on uk free TV for the first time. its awesome. the visual style is a mix of jack kirby & japanese anime and the story tone is like the new movies (iron man is a soundalike of downey). great stories, great visuals. i find this show hard to fault and its probably the second best superhero cartoon of all time to Batman animated series. The avengers havent yet assembled. each week has focused on the background of each separate memeber, last saturday was ant-man and wasp and was intelligently written in a way that made them look really powerful. ive seen a load of villains on display if only in cameo. for marvel fans i cannot recommend this show highly enough.

nope. yellowjacket era nowhere in sight. theyve just trashed Whirlwind and Nick Fury has asked them to join SHIELD. Jans up for it but hank just wants to pursue his scientific interest. and Man-Ape has just killed the Black Panthers father. I think its Captain America and the Red Skull next saturday.

Awful. Not a patch on Batman (even Brave & Bold) or Justice League.

Yes, I checked it out a while ago and thought it was average at best, and pretty poor compared to DC's efforts.

sorry dudes but i cant agree - i think the anime influence in avengers is great.

I watched it online and really enjoyed season one. I don't think it's as good as as Justice League or Batman but then what is?
I really like Young Justice, I think that's awesome almost as good as Justice League. Great characters and humour, just a shame it's such a long wait for Season 2.
