Orange change tariff new contract?
Is this fair? Do the other telcos do this? I downgraded my land line tariff and got the following email.
Great news, we've made the changes you requested to your Orange home plan and we have renewed your contract for 18 months. You can check out our terms and conditions at www.orange.co.uk/terms/internet/homeservices |

Did you agree to the contract extension? If not get back on the phone and set them straight. Legally under distance selling you have 7 days in which to change your mind.

Hi unklesam
You should certainly have been advised of any new agreement term you would be entering into when you changed your package. I'd advise to contact Customer Support asap to query this with them. I hope they can clear this up for you! ^Darren_OrangeHelpers Twitter: http://twitter.com/orangehelpers Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/OrangeUK |

there was something on the television about this recently. You have the right to cancel the contract within 30 days. They're just trying to renew your contract. Cancel it now!
