recommend me one of the following
I've done a little research on this and just went to phone4u today and the saleman recommended the samsung galaxy S2. for what does, it's probably the best out there, but the design leaves alot to be desired.
with a new mobile phone, i expect it to have a wow factor and i just don't get that with the S2. the iPhone 4 and the HTC Sensation have that. everyone i've spoken to recommends the iPhone, which makes me believe it's truly the best out there. the problem is that as soon as i check online reviews i get an altogether different picture. and for £800 (over 24 months) i don't want to be making any mistakes. can someone please sway me in the right direction. preferably i'm looking for an Android with bluetooth and 1GB download a month. the camera has to have flash and the screen has to be 3.5 inch or more. connectivity can't be an issue either. |

If you want a fashion accessory I recommend jewelry, which will not become obsolete or break down. £800 doesn't get you a phone twice as good as £400, and any "wow" factor will be gone within three months of purchase.
For high technology, there are a number of capable but very keenly priced phones around these days, and Pay As You Go or SIM-only contracts give you control over your phone usage costs. |

I think you answered your own question. You want an Android phone with the "wow" factor, and say that you think the Sensation has it. Therefore, why not just get the Sensation? I've recently switched to the SGS2 from an iPhone and I can tell you now, unless you like staring at rows and rows of icons every single day, don't go with an iPhone.

The CarPhone Warehouse didn't have the phone as a pay as you go. supposedly, their offer for it had expired. this was a deal breaker, so i went across the street and brought the phone at an o2 shop. it's funny but a year ago my heart would have ruled my head and i would've brought the iphone 4, but today it was my head that won through.

![]() You won't regret it, the Galaxy S2 is the best phone I've ever had. Everything is silky smooth, rooting is a piece of cake, and the screen is out of this world. I must warn you though, after using the Super AMOLED Plus screen for a while you'll never want to go back to LCD!

I'm looking at getting a SGS2 but that plastic back makes me shudder. The sensation is better in that regard but not 'quite' as good a phone.
Do you think anyone will make copy covers for the back of the SGS2? They cant be worse surely? This is the only thing holding me off getting one. |

If the question is really just "Apple or HTC?" I suspect the answer is already there in your heart. In my experience people don't consider Apple for technological reasons but on aesthetic grounds. Which of them appears prettiest to you? Neither of their high-end phones represents good value for money from a purely technological point of view. You'll find phones on the market that will present as good or better a user experience as either, and without spending a small fortune.

I recently moved from a HTC Desire to a SGS2, and although the Samsung is the better phone feature wise,I still miss the HTC a little.
The was the HTC loads up web pages, specifically zooming - feels nicer. Texting, especially the auto-correction, is easier on the HTC. And the HTC comes pre-installed with more useful widgets for customisation. Now the SGS2 as I say is the better phone, but the Sensation would be the one I'd choose if I was choosing again. It's not miles away in features and has a nicer feel to using it. Oh, and the iPhone is overpriced garbage that's a year old and is way dated in comparrison. |

I had a play with the Sensation today and I thought it was too heavy, the screen was just average, and Sense is a bit clunky. I guess it's personal opinion though and I'm already just used to TouchWiz and the insane lightness/thinness of the SGS2.
