He's only that smug when he's wearing his elevator shoes. He had a good five inches of heel on last night, hidden partially by his trouser hem.

With eyelash dye. It's been available for years. Less hassle than mascara and saves poking yourself in the eye with a brush.

He looked like this during the last series of the X Factor as well though : I noticed it every week when there were close ups of him on the Xtra Factor.

Yeah theres deffo no doubt he uses make-up. I never realised before but someone on the forum suggested it about the eyeliner... He looks like he dyes his eyelashes too.

What I noticed last night, was one of Cowell's eyes staring ahead and the other going to the left, like a lazy eye but significantly worse. Then things returned to normal. Quite spooky.

That could be a lazy eye, which is quite a commonplace condition, though it would be a bit odd if this hadn't been noticeable before and is only surfacing now.
He has his eyelashes dyed which would make a droopy eye more noticeable. Too much botox maybe. It was his lipgloss that made me laugh. He's so unattractive, nothing could make him look good.

Did you notice with his upper lip it barely moved when he spoke.....Joan Rivers talks the same way.all via the lower lip.
Besides his eye not being right, I just thought Simon wasn't himself at all last night. He seemed to be almost embarrassed being there (not surprising, given some of the 'acts'!), didn't look or behave as he usually does and didn't come out with his usual snappy comments.
I hope it's only jet-lag and that he's better tonight.

I think the lighting makes the bruising look worse.There are some photos on another thread of him arrivng yesterday and he looked fine
