'cloudy' patches on black on LED TV

I've got a new 46" Samsung LED TV, all HD content looks amazing and really pleased with it except there are several cloudy patches on the screen when watching dark scenes, always in the same place and more noticeable around the edges.

I've tried playing with the settings but can't shift them but then again I'm defo no expert hence the plea for help from ypou folks!

It's pretty common with edge-lit LED screens, the backlighting isn't even enough.

It caused Sony to sue Sharp over the faulty screens they provided for them - when the production versions didn't meet the same specs that the original samples did.

Pull the screen towards you so it's nearly facing the floor. My TV had spots and this solved it.
