I was "whaaaaaaaaaaattttt noooooooooooooooooo" thought it was a bit rude like...................but have forgiven them now for the rest of the fabulousness

I said "no!" out loud just after Syed said "I'd love to" - I was expecting another hug
but that was before the bed scene! I don't even care now! I sent my praise off to the BBC. I hope a lot of people do this, it would just be great if we managed to outweigh the complaints. I forgot to copy and paste my praise, but I did tell them this, and that it was a step towards equality.
I'm so happy though. Even our "friend" can't bring my mood down right now

Laura, loved your post on the last thread about how Zainab has now twice inadvertantly helped Syed move towards a life with Christian. Tonight's Syed-Zainab scene was one of the best they've had, I had my hand over my mouth watching it, it was so damn good. And that's not even taking into account Syed freaking singing.
Seriously, this is the kind of character-driven writing that was sorely missing from Reunion. If they'd given us a Syed-Zainab scene like this back in July I'd have been shouting praise from the rooftops. This mother and son relationship is absolute gold dust - the characters are compelling individually and together, and the actors have a rare chemistry.
Daran Little is a writer who really understands the characters and cares about their histories - you could see it in so many parts of the script tonight, with non-Masood characters as well. He's done a brilliant job these past two episodes. I feel lucky to be a Chryedian tonight. Wow, how strange...but wonderful.
Chryed: true love, exhomo and best of all, no domestic violence or mental abuse. Sorry Stendan - our couple win.
