Not sure if i'll be commenting tonight as it depends on whether my parents choose to watch it live or record it and watch later.

Would the Queen like to see Lorna Bliss, I don't think so

It's dreadful when parents act like they own the place!

I'm backing David and Karen on the principal that it'll be great to see a different act winning the show. They're very good too. I hope Herbie Armstrong doesn't go through - we already have one singing act in the final. Enchantment, Up and Over It or Two and a Half Men would be good qualifiers IMO.

It should be a tighter semi final than last night.

But we all secretly love the rubbish acts . Where would the fun be if they were all good?

There has been way too much emphasis on what the queen would like to watch -
- "Do you think the queen will enjoy act?"
- "I'm not sure if the queen will like this"
- "This act is perfect for the queen"
- "The queen will LOVE this"

Yeah, I know that the prize at the end is win a slot on the royal Variety Performance - but it's not just the queen the watches it! They need a new prize, I'm bored of hearing about what "the queen would love". I don't care what the queen would love to watch - if an act isn't my cup of tea, it isn't my cup of tea.

It's about finding new talent, not finding talent to fit what the queens deems as acceptable talent!

"The Royal Variety Performance"? They should rename that for a start!

Should be The Royal Singers, Dancers and Musician's Performance.

Well I'm sorry, but unfortunately the prize is all about the Queen

The prize is a performance on the royal Variety Show, not to meet the queen and do the act in front of her and no one else.

They shouldn't only put through what they deem 'acceptable' to put in front of the queen, it's about talent. The queen is just one of many people who go to the royal Variety Show.
