I am not surprised if it's true
There's no hype. Big hoops hasn't even exploded despite the video released

Maybe they are going back to the drawning board?

Well not really its a month away from release and TV promo starting on fri with a big performance on chatty man so this baffles me.

I was a little surprised by this push-back, but I think it's a good decision. One single, no matter how good or catchy it is, cannot launch an album after a 5-year absence from the mainstream radio. A September release date gives them time to release another single. The promo they've arranged in May won't go wasted of course, it will help her single climb up the charts, thus making her return much easier. She can resume the promo in late August, just in time for the VMA's

That said, I hope the push-back is a strategy and not an excuse to scrap some of the tracks and re-record half of the album to make it more commercial ( 'Femme Fatale' and 'Bionic' spring to mind).

So true but at the same time she has a month for another promo single and plenty of appearances but i suppose it is all for the best but i dont want as you said recordings and half arsed generic tripe sent our way after a five year gap.

It's not been confirmed yet (as far as i'm aware). But I still think September is too far away. August would have been understandable.

If you think about it, Nelly could have two (or three at a push) more singles between now and September. Which then makes us ask, what will happens to "big hoops?". It has a video, the promo is beginning (chatty man, billboard). It's all very rushed if this is happening.

I think it's for the best. 'Big Hoops' will be given at least 2 months to catch on, so the second single won't be out before late July. Then a promo single a month later and a VMA's performance. It sounds like a normal era to me. Most artists get to release 2 singles before the album's release. I just hope they already have the next single off of the recording sessions she's already done.

This sounds exciting. Darkchild and Salaam Remi were obviously the ones who contributed the most. No Timbaland or Danja, though...Well, I can't wait for the album anyway

P.S : Is the tracklist confirmed?

The tracks they co-wrote are on the deluxe, though. I wonder why. I hope 'TSI' is not one of those albums where all the more experimental and quirky tracks are on the deluxe album.

It was a good performance and I really love this song. It's rising on the iTunes pre-order, sort of wish it was available to download now but if it's rising I don't think it can hurt waiting until June 3rd.
