Nelly will perform on 'Red or Black' on Saturday
YES! I knew she was coming sooner or later. I reckon it'll be Spirit Indestructible that gets performed seeing as that's the European single, I wouldn't mind two tracks though.

I'm worried for the remainder of the TSI era though with a rumoured new Rihanna album, new Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Pink, Christina Aguilera that Nelly could be drowned out by the masses of comebacks. i just hope her promo can fair out against all these chart threats. But I love all these acts so I don't mind who charts where. At the end of the day as long as the music is great and the artists are happy then I'm happy too

And that's why I'm incredibly glad she didn't opt for 'Loose' 2.0. or safe pop hits. She would be overshadowed in a heartbeat and she would lose a lot of her credibility. Flopping while trying to follow the trends is the worst, so I'm glad her album is unique and creative

You struck the nail on the head right there! I'd rather a creative opus that stands out too rather than generic Guetta contributions. Although a Loose 2.0 wouldn't be too bad down the line

Nelly's team are doing brilliantly at keeping this album locked up until Monday! Surprised nothing has leaked yet. Although looking at P!nk's strategy of releasing lyric videos for various album tracks each day to give a taste of the album - that ain't a bad idea as it could convert people who are unsure about buying the album into making the purchase.

I'm so hoping my copy arrives tomorrow from HMV but i'm not sure it will as it was dispatched late yesterday.

Nelly looked amazing on Loose Women today!

Yes, she was stunning. I adored the Spirit Indestructible performance, I think it's my fave from the era so far. Her little dance at one point was cute

Doctor Who was immense!

But why on earth did they make Nelly do Hoops??? i thought she may have sung TSI or Parking Lot...nevertheless great show...loved the allusions to Express Yourself (the steampunk staircase/ponytail0 and of course lovely to hear her voice and see her work that stage....and those light robot android thingies looked cool too! Very kinda mardi gras! style....good overall...but what an awful show -_- haha! At least she got that promo!

Cannot wait to hear the album.

I agree Josh, why hoops

Great performance. Loved the set up of the stage. I wonder if that is a sneek peek of her tour theme

It was a good performance. Much preferred what she did on Loose Women in the week though with Spirit Indestructible - so stupid not to promote that song since its the one released today!!

I just came across this video from one of Nelly's promo gigs. She CAN dance

Terrible song though

Seriously i had no idea what Red or Black was about....but i know ill never watch it again....unless someone else i like eprforms.....very limiting though.

And i wondered the same thing tour wise LM mmaybe it will be Tribal/Futurism....i loved the steamed stair case, the very mardi gras light effect....nice taster from an artist that should be garnering more airplay than many others -_- shame really.

Anyways cannot wait to hear the album

I'm really disappointed by her 'Red or Black' performance to be brutally honest I wanted it to be longer and 'BH' was released in June, so why didn't she perform another song? I think it was a great opportunity for her to launch the album and, although I love her to death, I have to admit she didn't utilise it properly.

Still, I can't wait to buy the album and I hope she does as well as possible with it chart-wise. It's a truly great album that deserves success. Even if it's not an instant blockbuster, I hope the epicness that is 'PL' leads to a significant resurgence in the album's sales

The 'red and black' performance was good but I preferred her 'loose women' performance (which everyone seemed to hate). Nelly even replied to some 'haters' on twitter as they hurled abuse at her about her "nasal performance". Her replies were good though.

I think the album will go top 10 (officially) but I doubt it'll go #1 or #2 etc (especially with Pink's album out tomorrow). Having said that I am sort of "done" with the whole chart position thing (on all artists) because Nelly hit the nail on the head when she said that sales don't bother her, but the fact people are missing out on great music does.

I'm excited for tomorrow though

I agree with you about Loose Women crapping over the R or B performance. It was better on every level. Nelly's performance vocally on LW was the exact same as it sounds on the album! I don't get why she was so flacked for it. I thought it was brilliant and so much more natural.

The staging at the Red or Black show was nice, real carnival theme going on.

I can't wait for tomorrow - I have the album already but I can't wait to finally discuss it all with you. I can tell you though that Parking Lot album version SLAYS.

Yeah the staging on 'R&B' was flawless but it was too short. Having said that i'm pleased her team have given the UK a dose of her before the album (BBC Breakfast, Loose Women and also KISS on Friday).

I have heard the album version of 'PL' and love it (although once again a lot of people say she "ruined" the studio version compared to the live performances but I just don't see it personally). To me she is a true artist who isn't particularly bothered by sales or negativity etc...it's just all about making music. I respect her so much for that

Because people are used to generic radio voices and can't handle Nelly's unique tone. I don't bother with that though. Nasal or not, she delivers amazing music and that's what matters. All I want from her is to raise the bar in her live performances, especially if she gets the chance to promote 'PL' (EMA's please!!).

She definitely deserves a slot at the EMAs (and other bigger events imo).

Nelly has recoreded some album chart show style set for the UK, I think we get it on the 20th September but it airs at like 1am
