HMV are usually brilliant (for me) but lately they've slacked a little. Ordered future purchases from play.com (as apparently they're really quick now).
Tomorrow it will be here ![]() .HMV really are just...urgh! I can't stand the store, so overpriced and the staff bleurgh! I barely use their delivery service cause of how it's declined. I suppose the 2 for £10/£15 thing isn't too extortionate but I prefer Play or Amazon. |

Just love Nellie . Can anyone tell me the exact time she appeared on Red and Black. I have tried three times to find her , but all I get is a mass of adverts and those clowns Ant and Dec. Is it very early in the programme , because I assumed it must be towards the end

Tomorrow it will be here ![]() So luckily one of my 2 days off work is tomorrow so I will be waiting at home and hoping that the postman delivers it. And I thought that Nellys profomance on Red or Black was superb. And Red or Black is most deffenatly a very bad programme which I would never watch so luckily I recorded the first and seconded part and then just fast forwarded thought the show untill I go to Nellys profomance. And as I was on my way home for Holiday last Friday I Sadly missed Nelly on Loose Women which I never watch but if I knew that she was going to be on thre then I would watched it but I had no chance of seeing here on it as I was in the car most of the day. I will check itv player and see if it is still on there. And I really hope that Nellys new album The Spirit Indestructible and forthcoming singles do really well. Go Nelly Furtado. |

Today the posman delivered my copy of Nelly Furtado The Spirit Indestructible (2CD deluxe edition) that I Pre-ordered from play.con.
![]() I am just about to add it to my iTunes and then to my iPod Touch. Just to let everyone know that the 2CD deluxe edition of The Spirit Indestructible comes in a carbord case and not the normal plastic case which is slightly annoying. |

Yeah that annoyed me too as your cd's become scratched easily. I have a few albums that come in cases like that and the discs are not kept well at all.

I was surprised to see it was the cardboard slipcase too (but so was Pink's deluxe version too).

For me, disc two is amazing. It puts the album into a different realm compare to Disc 1.

I love Nelly's duet with the Kenyan Choir. It's so beautiful!

What i love is that TSI really does stand on its own above her other work i truly feel....it isnt as commercialised as Loose, it is not as Alternative as Folklore and it isnt as Pop/Indie combo as Woah Nelly! either...it very much is a new chapter 6 years later after her commercial breakthrough and this is what she had to say
![]() I love the journey Disc 1 takes us on...some very Santigold vibes, some very Militant vibes, loads of Tribal/Snare drum effects and Industrial samples which sound sublime...vocally unique as ever...and then we have disc 2 which i feel works as its own mini album too! It really works as a continuation and as its own piece which i find a little piece of genius! But yeah i very very much think TSI is her finest moment so far! It is just a shame that unlike Loose and Woah Nelly it will perhaps go by the way side but alas, it is always about quality

I agree Josh! I also love how it's a continuation theme i.e. most songs interweave with one another. I love how she is reflecting on her childhood/teens too. Brilliant album overall.

Its like her own personal "Like A Prayer, Sign O The Times, Rumours, Whats goin On..." coming of age, personal account album...i mean she speaks emotions that we can associate with perhaps on a level but it has that personal social commentary edge to it too...which is why i find it gutting TSI will be left by the way side....but yeah i am a little bit impressed with it

Just bought it!!!
I'm starting to get really pissed off by how underrated and ignored this album has been so far, but it's shaping up to be 'Folklore' 2.0. : ONLY for select Nelly fans The snippets got me really excited, so I'll listen to it later to see if it's as good as I think it is

The quality of the album is what will bring people back to it in the future. I don't feel the album is "done with" (chart wise) just yet. At present it is being over-rided by the "in" artists (Carly Rae Jepsen etc) but this one will be the one that stands the test of time.
