I thought Amanda was appearing in Shrek at the moment? How can she do both?

Didnt you hear? When she left Shrek to do the show for a few weeks, the production/actors celebrated, the show ran more smoothly and got better reviews and the audience figures went up 200%.

They are happy she is gone.

Wish she would shrek off my TV screen, cannot stand the woman and she is absolutely talentless, she was miming and if she was chocolate she would eat herself .. her and Kym Marsh are the luckiest untalented people on TV

Miming? Err, no, she wasn't!

I thought the Shrek part of the results show was pretty ropey. Very talented chorus giving it their all - backing up some very mediocre principal performances. Amanda was just about in tune - but very shouty. The only decent voice from the lead characters was the Dragon who sounded pretty fabulous compared to the rest.

This was clearly a sop to the producers of the theatre show - who lost one of their 'star' names for a week and got this free advert as compensation.

I know I won't be paying to see Amanda Holden in Shrek or any other theatre show. There are many female performers who would kill to play the roles she has been given - and who would do it much better. I have no doubt that her understudy in Shrek is wowing audiences
