One good comment from Simon and suddenly a nothing act that nobody remembered going into tonights semi wins and is now already one of the favs to win....he manages to pull the wool over everyones eyes again.

NO ONE is going to tell me that going into tonight they thought New Bounce were anything special or had a hope of winning, and thats even if they remembered them in the first plce.
never say never

exactly!! i agree, i dont think new bounce are the next best thing at all! there rubbish and are jus singing good popular songs. simon jus pushed them through and down our throats because he wants to make money off...the new jls = wtf!?

I hope tonight is the night the public turn round and stick two fingers up at Simon Cowell. This show has become a massive joke.

He's like a puppetmaster leading the masses.

I notice New Bounce had a full choir on their backing track : has every other singing act been allowed this amount of backing vocals?

He reminds me of the original "Big Brother" from George Orwell's 1984.....whatever he says seems to be gospel for a lot of people.

Well when 20 million people in these lands tune into X-factor is there any bloody wonder?

Remember Connected. No, thought not.

Didn't think New Bounce were much better tonight than their audition, but credit to them for coming out and taking a bit of a risk rather than playing it safe like so many of the singers do. I think though had Two and a Half Men been towards the end of the show the result may have been different.

I'm only half joking btw : he's the nearest thing we have to an Orwellian arch-manipulator.

Or had their song picked for them by the producers? There is a hell of a lot of manipulation going on on this show by Cowell and his buddies.

Agree. They already have their own official site on Twitter linked by the Official X Factor site on there.

Good to know Cowell puts as much effort into manipulating BGT as he does with the X Factor

Shame those same millions didn't buy Steve Brookstien's records.

Simon has to be very careful when he jumps. He wears elevator shoes.

Notice he has his Kronies (planted audience members) behind him again.. who seem to dictate who gets the standing ovations and whoop up the audience behind them.

That's why I got my bet in at 20/1, Cowell is so predictable just had a feeling he would make them seem like the big new boyband. Dont think they'll win, sure he'll try dam hard to make it happen- that or Ronan whoever can make the most money really.

I get the impression that if Simon started raving about Popeye then her Majesty would be getting a faceful of bulging eyeballs.
