So yesterday a singer and a pianist go through and today singers and a pianist go through...wow. diverse.

Agree what a pile of crap the final is going to be and why dont they just have an all kids final while their at it i would love to see Joe get through last night he ENTERTAINED me!!(im bored of singers that is what the xfactor and all the other singing shows are for)

I know. They might as well name this show X Factor 2. Because unless you are a singer musician you're not going to get through. Though I do like Michael Collings who I'm still waiting to see.
Its crazy putting out David and karen who were superb talented and very entertaining. I liked two and a half men as well. Joe the boy on the bike last night should have gone through to the final last night. But no lets pick a pianist and a child singer. Now tonight. lets pick a band and a mad woman on a piano.
I thought this was meant to be a talent show?

It's like buying a variety cereal pack instead of a box of cornflakes,

you still get the cornflakes in the variety pack.

Circus of Horrors and that little blond boy who looks a little like an albino who does ballet

And frosties - which lets face it, are just cornflakes on an ego trip.

If Circus of Horrors make the final, they stand a real chance of winning, especially if they are the only "variety" act there as people will vote for something different (assuming they are good).

But in this show none of the Variety!

Variety is dead on this show.

The cynical side of me believes they deliberately create a weak line up tonight, to guarantee New Bounce for the final. Vital as they are the most likely to be line Cowell's pocket

It can't be purely about talent.

It seems harsh on a singer/piano player to not go through tonight purely because a singer and piano player went through last night. Otherwise the rest of the singers might as well go home now.

I think everyone should remember, people thought Connected would be a hit last year. Now what are they doing?
Oh yes, playing concerts at Butlins...
Next year: New Bounce & Connected double act only at Butlins!

They should put similar acts against each other in the semi-finals. That way they'd get more variety in the final.

Of course I notice all acts through so far...are ones that could potentially release music tracks/albums. So Simon will be happy.


The one plus about singing kids going through every night...is it may help to split the vote in the final...so a more original act may sneak through to a victory (if any make it past the semi-finals).

There have been so many opportunities for variety to go through, but they've been kicked out. Joe on his BMX, the magicians, the martial arts sisters..It's not fair, not fair at all.

How about the pianist and the organist? They aren't singers

New Bounce and Jean are poor relations to Ronan and Paul. I'd argue the latter two deserve to be in the final (though Joe would've walked tonight's semi IMO) but the former two do not.
