I don't think David will return

Hanging him out to dry in regards to Lorna Bliss was the clearest sign IMO - it makes it look like he alone overruled the remainder of the panel. Obviously he didn't, and quite a few people will see through it...but they couldn't give a toss about his image in the UK now which indicates to me that he will be dropped at the end of the series.

Who would You want to be the Judges then if he did not return?

I think
Simon Cowell
Amanda Holdan
Michael McIntye
.

I don't think the show will return again, they're sabotaging it for themselves and they are the ones doing it.

Why does using him as the reason for Lorna's return suggest he won't be back next year? They just wanted an easy explanation and that was it. It won't have damaged his image in the slightest. I've seen nothing to suggest he won't be and he's close friends with Cowell, so I think both him and Michael will be back next year. I hope they will be as I really like them both.

I think Louis may be a judge. If rumours are to be believed, Simon wanted him as a judge this year, but ITV didn't want too muh crossover between Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor.

As long as it holds up in the ratings it will return, and it's holding up so far. To be honest they've 'sabotaged' The X Factor more than they ever have Britain's Got Talent and that's still going.

it was odd the way everyone put the responsibility for her coming back on his shoulders.

it also made him look like a dirty old man.

I like the hoff, but i dont think hes a good judge.

I think he doesnt really care what happens in the show in the same way that A list celebs do adverts in Japan, only on the assurance that the ads will never be shown in the US.

I mean as long as it doesnt hurt his US career then what does he care?

I think if they were planning to keep the panel the same they would've been a bit more 'airy' with their explanation ("the panel decided..."), or even going to the point of saying Simon was to blame. It seems strange that they pointed the finger at one judge in particular.

After last years X Factor, I said I wouldn't watch it again - and I won't.
After this years BGT, they have done what they did with X Factor last year and again I won't watch next year.

However, I am just one person and with over 10 mil watching each night on both shows, my one rating number won't be missed.

Well one of the main aspects of Simon coming back is that until last night he'd had no influence at all, so they couldn't pin it on him, and saying the panel overall changed their minds wouldn't have worked as Michael really didn't like her audition, so the Hoff was the one to pin it in, particularly as it fits well with his persona on the show.

But it's already been made clear Simon's watched the audition tapes, so it could've been said he saw hers and thought 'we need that act for controversy'. Maybe they felt he had enough issues to deal with?

I still think it would've been easier to be 'airy' about it and not pick out one panel member specifically.

If there was a conspiracy to sex up the semi final then why bring her back and then put her in normal outfits?

Surely they would have kept her in the revealing costume?

And why have a conspiracy to just sex up one semi final when tomorrows doesnt have anything remotely sexy either?

It just doesnt make sense.

And it isnt as if theres been a huge publicity thing theyve engineered. Sure they got a bit of publicity but nothing huge.

Whatever the reason for doing it i think we can all assume it was a big failiure. I feel sorry for the poor girl in the middle of it all

I know Simon thinks business first before friendship, but isn't he good friends with The Hoff, goes on holiday with him, that sort of thing?
