Worst variety show ever
I think this series of BGT is shocking.
Some excellent literally amazing acts have been seen, but such crap gets through to the next stage. Is it a fix to guarantee someone specific or one of a selected few will be guaranteed to win? I resented the time wasted watching the show tonight, but more fool me, as I will keep tuning in. |

Guess you didn't vote tonight then?
Don't moan about the public voting for someone just because you don't like them, not voting means the act you like won't get through simple as that! |

2 singers and 2 pianists so far in the final.
What we should have had is 1 singer, 1 pianist, 1 magic act and 1 dance troupe (Jazz at that). |

Cowell and the public don't seem to be aware they're picking an act for the Royal VARIETY Performance......they're treating it as if it is all all age version of the X Factor.

The Hoff should not even be a judge and I dont think that Amanda Holden is as good as she thinks she is either! I have nothing against them as people but I just dont think that either of them are good enough to judge other people, especially Amanda. What has she really done over the years. She is not even a proper singer herself as we all saw tonight! |

Looks like this year's winner will be either a singer or a piannist so much for VARIETY!
![]() Makes a mockery of the show when a truly talented act like that French dancer can't get through ahead of the likes of Britney and Terminator

Everyone is saying 'i wonder what Simon thinks of this act', i had no idea Simon was now the Queen?
Why haven't they ever had a judge from the Royal Variety or someone who helps organise that show? To me it seems the prize has lost its way somehow. It's always there as an afterthought, to perform in front of the Queen.... |

I think the dancer [Jay?] was good, and I liked his background story, but in my eyes, that's not what BGT should be about.
I think deep down they thought they were on a win win. They will get popularity for voting him, but they know one of their 'up and coming superstars' will win. Shocking. |

Years ago we used to get lots of variety/talent shows, but they went stale. Maybe now they have been rested a good few years, they should bring back something like Opportunity Knocks or New Faces.

Totally dire. There must be some good variety acts out there better than this bunch surely.
I keep thinking tomorrow nights has got to be better than this.... Theres still two more dog acts to see....o ...m....g.... Get some really professional judges to scour the country and bring the best to the screen. Brian Conleys variety show on bbc2 was good. We got to see the cream. |

You can easily tell this is a generation raised on the X Factor as they are primarily drawn towards the singing and music acts.

Putting through 4 dog acts is a bit much and sending home very good acts.

Some truly talented acts have gone home over singers/musicians, and it's totally unfair. Variety, my arse.

The first dog act tonight was a HUGE waste of money.

What a crock it has been.
Friday had more talent, but I am still overall UNimpressed. I'd like to see new talent shows. |
