Ridiculous

I know im about to be slated by everyone on here, but i need to get something out. I just find ridculous how people on here can be so harsh to acts which appear on the show. Stacey Solomon put it perfectly, those people put themselves in the nerve racking position of facing the judges and actually have some talent, whereas the people that write on here are probably keyboard warriors who wouldn't get within an inch of the show.

Paul got criticized on here, but how many of you people can play piano at his standard, especially in the time period he's learnt it in? Ronan got a lot of criticism on here, but that boy has talent clearly, with music specialists backing him all the way. Im sorry that are actually in the industry, i think are likely to no more than the people on here.

Jean Martyn today was fantastic, i don't know many people that can play with their feet and play it correctly. New Bounce, those boys really stepped up their game and if simon says they have a big future and he is arguably the biggest man in the music business im sure they are good. They along with Ronan have had a fantastic twitter response which clearly shows their favourites. I find it unbelievable especially how people on here criticize these kids when they have actually done a good job and can't accept that fact because they are bitter.

Ronan definitely isn't chosen one and is fixed to win, its just because he probably had the best first audition and so really deserves it, leave the boy alone. Also people say New Bounce are professionals and so they are cheating, how about you take a look at donelda guy, circus of horrors, enchantment, two and a half men have danced professionaly! However because they are kids, everyone feels the need to be nasty to them because of the bitterness they have in them.

The way i see it, if you don't like it then don't watch and stop complaining. The people that are through are all good in their respective ways and i look forward to watching the show develop. rant over.

I agree with what you say in principal, however I disafree on three things. Firstly There are lots that can play to his standard. The fact he did reached that level so quickly is impressive but are you judging that more than his actual talent. I watch the ITV2 show on Monday night and he said that he has had a few lessons. Interestingly on the main audition shows they said he taught himself. Whilst the time factor is still impressive it's an less interesting story now you know he had some lessons.
As for Ronan of coause the music industry rate him. They all see the money making potential in him and are hoping they can get him under contract.

I don't give a toss if New Bounce are professionals or not. However I do think it's unfair to have an contest where you have professionals or professionally trained acts competing with non-professional members of the public who are getting up and having a go. It isn't the professional's fault they are taking an rare opportunity that comes along. It's the fault of the production company.

I don't think people are having a go at some acts because they are kids and easy targets, it's more the obvious manipulation of the show and the use of "wow they are amazing and so young as well." They obviously want certain acts in the final, hence so many ropey acts being in the semi-final. Can anyone honestly say they believe the bell ringers have a hope in hell of reaching the final? Why can't they catergorize the semi finals? In one have all kids. In another singers. Another dance acts, another speciality acts. The result would be a final with a variety of acts. Not only would you then have like competing with like to reach the fiinal, it would take out a lot of the manipulation. So far we have 4 acts in the final and two are kids and by pure coincidence they won their heats. Guess who is the favourite to go through tonight... a 15 year old boy singing, It's not his fault he is 15. It's not his fault he is in a semi-final with no other kids. The fault lies with the producers and their obvious manipulation.

I doubt half of them have. lol

I don't care if an act is British or where they live. They'll be forgotten and disappear within months anyway.

I also agree with the OP.
The show has been fun to watch so far and I have also enjoyed Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff as judges.
But good luck to all those people with the bottle to go on stage in front of thousands and do what they do.
I did love Jean Martyn's enthusiasm but underneath her swaying she is actually a good musician. If you watch her feet she is actually playing a bass line on the pedals.
My only critisim is that Simon is back to make the whole judging thing gloomy again. He only really likes the singers (cash converters.)

No no no.

It's all a crock of sh*t.

Simon said himself, he cant believe they let through the 'hand jivers' instead of some of the much better dance acts.

No two ways about it, the quality of 'talent' this year is astoundingly rubbish. Utter, utter drivel.

In a nutshell - there is the answer. That is why people can react badly to the show - some people do not like being made a mug of and that is what the producers do. Last night was the perfect example - a space came up and rather than pick one of those rejected in the second round they selected that idiotic Britney wannabee even though she got three no votes. And why - for publicity and ratings. How many people watch to see how bad the show is? Many people thought the dancer Michael was much more talented than most but he got rejected. Can anyone seriously say that Lorna Bliss was more talented than him?

I agree with you OP. Especially the attitudes towards kid acts. The posters on here will NEVER accept if a child has talent. They well ALWAYS use the 'they only got through because they're a cute child' excuse.
If a 12 year old boy came out and played the phantom of the opera on the piano, whilst singing along to it note perfectly as well as juggling fire and producing a spellbound type gymnastic display around the stage at the same time, and got through to the final, it wouldn't be accepted as talent on here, it would be because he's cute.
It's one thing sitting behind your computer bashing a load of kids, and it's another getting up on a stage and performing infront of 5 million people.

if you put yourself forward to be judged on your talent, whatever that may be, you are openly inviting praise or criticism. it isn't fair to expect only those who think the act is good to make comment, whilst those who think it is a load of rubbish must say nothing.

I cannot sing, nor dance. I cant play a musical instrument, hand jive or do magic. But I can still hear if a song is sung in tune and I can still have an opinion on others who think they can do one of the above and wish to be judged on their supposed talent.

Unfortunately I think last nights show was full of very very poor talent!
