Can't say I have been enthusiastic about these scenes since we heard about them, HOs do set piece comedy so badly normally, if I remember rightly Steph Waring said it was nice to see Emmett stretching his comedy muscles so I am assuming that he has to do something ridiculous in order for Cheryl to win these games and hey ho she forgets that he bashed her over the head.

Yeah, Emmett knows when a turd is a turd. He knew that Heat episode was crap as well. If he thinks it's good, he's usually full of praise for everyone.

I wouldn't be surprised if cheryl forgives him just because of a game, I remember she was mad at him because she missed the wedding and it wasn't even her wedding!

I'm hoping we get some anger/'why I struggle to forgive you' talk earlier in the week.

just been catching up with all the spoliers, they seem...interesting, i do think that Cheryl will eventually forgive brendan, regarding himself, Stephen & Noah, just gotta expect the unexpected with them

They're gonna have to be good, these games, aren't they? He has to make her forget that he boshed her over the head, has been gay his whole life and kept it secret, was responsible for putting Pete in a chair, was sleeping with Ste, was beating Ste up, and that she had to give him a false alibi to get him off a charge of murder that she doesn't even know he's innocent of.

I am expecting the Olympics, no less. Not Cindy and effing Todger with wheelbarrows.

While I want them to talk, I am sick of her stupid reasons for hating him. I can understand why she was mad when she found out - she had trusted him and belived him about things, and then to hear her brother had lied and was gay would have been a shock, but she sort of forgave him for that, and it looked like she understood. Then, the whole 'I don't care if he dies' and 'I'll never forgive you for making me miss the wedding' stuff seemed stupid and really out of character. So I am bored of that, and its likelly the wedding is going to be the only thing mentioned, if they do talk. I would really love for Chez to ask some decent questions and mention their family, but I don't think it'll happen. Instead, we will be stuck with 'hillarious' egg and spoon races, in which Cindy will cheat and boill her egg in the hot-tub first

We might get Tracksuit!Brendan again, I suppose....

Yeah, you're probabaly right. He'll 'manipulate' the games so that Cheryl wins. She'll then find out and be all happy that he did that for her and forgive him. Even though that's completely hyprocritical and she'll forget why she was mad at him in the first place and all the things that Brendan did wrong will probably never be mentioned again.

We're never going to have proper conversations between them are we, where Chez tries to help him with his issues and actually just tries to listen and understand him?

right, so these spoilers are pretty much as expected, rubbish. but, despite what you all think, im quite looking forward to these chez chez games cos bren will no doubt feign enthusiasm and i take it note will be there, everybody bar dodger knows about brendans sexuality and most people know that he wants steeeeeeee

so just imagine the sexual tension when brendan and ste have had enough of fake smiling and go for a sit down and a drink (them being the most unenthusiastic of the bunch).

Oh those Waveguide spoilers are pretty much expected but I can't say I'm looking forward to it. Hollyoaks do comedy so badly most of the time, I can't really expect Emmett/Bronagh's influence to change that.
