Poor Teddy - (The Dog)

Why did they go through all that? Amanda, Michael and David are harsh/nasty for putting them through!

I blame these dotty female owners who put their aging dogs through all that nonsense for their own egos.

Yes! I agree very much! It all goes back to their owners in the end.

I think Simon was very hurtful when he said that he believed Teddy had retired on live tv.
That woman loves her dog and for Simon to say that isjust hurtful.
I'm sure the woman is more than well aware of her dogs age and being reminded of that would be the last thing she would need to be reminded of, especilally so publicly on live tv.
I really think Simon is up his own backside these days.

To be honest Julie I think Simon and Michael were sticking up for the dog. The owner shouldn't have put the poor dog through that.

Really poor act and should have got 4 buzzers. Surely by the semi-final every act should be quality?

Very true, but I'm sure the owner knows her dogs limits better than Simon and Michael.
I know what they said was, in a way true but I think it was a bit heartless to say it like that.
I know what I'm like with my cats and if anyone mentions that they're getting old, I just fill up with tears.
Plus Simon gets on my nerves and seems to believe in his own hype.

Poor doggy. You could see his cataracts so his vision is likely not great and he's in this mad environment being expected to do tricks.

I felt really sorry for the dog

Teddy is a lovely dog. However the act was disappointing. Kate & Gin set a very high standard on this programme a couple of years ago for a dog act. Kate did a fantastic job with Gin - they had a real rapport together.

Poor wee thing. He just wanted to be curled up on the sofa I think.

Looking back, I laughed at the time, but with the dogs age, I'm thinking it wasn't so wise for him to be out there. Bless his heart.
