Doesn't it seem a long long way away from the days of all the above !!! Pure Nostalgia.

Its absolute drivel this year.
.
Watching those just puts the level of talent this year into perspective. Any of those three could easily win this year, I think. Signatures first performance was one of my favourite all-time auditions - surprising, entertaining. Diversity were exciting and had genuine talent at what they do- plus every performance was fresh and original, getting better each time . Susan became a world-wide internet sensation and then a star.

This is the first year I could just take the show or leave it.

There's no one on the show I've seen so far who I think, WOW you are brilliant.

after the first 2 auditions i switched to watching recorded shows, so i could skip through the amount of rubbish on display.

on the other hand, if the show survives this year, with all that shite, it's gonna last another 10 years at least.

Totally agree !
And is it only me who thinks the camera work is appalling ? At times the camera shots are so far away you can hardly see the performers (or maybe that's intentional ? )

Its funny how people say its getting so bad, look at it when George Sampson won it back a few years ago and he is an average dancer he just jumps around, many Dancers rip him apart like Micheal Moral (French body popper) Razy (Matrix guy) and last year Tobias mead.

I picked Waterloo Road over BGT last night, I taped BGT, and I managed to get through that and the results show in around 40 minutes, so much pointless filler on the show, This year is so disappointing to me. Silliness like Lorna being brought back, Acts that are shite that should never have made the the semis, People who should be in the final who aren't (Biker/Magic Act spring to mind) and the poor Dog last night was the icing on the cake.

Ratings are down on last year, Corrie is outrating BGT. Such a shame because i've always preferred BGT over X Factor and looks like BGT is descending into X Factor cheesiness levels.
I'm thinking of trying Americas Got Talent this year and seeing how good that is compared to ours even though that features Piers Morgan =/.

It's not about who wins, just the overall standard of all the acts. In that final, there were several others that were easily good enough to win, George wasnt the best but had a 'story' so that helped him through. He wasnt even a bookies favourite and was 33/1 on final night, there were plenty of talented good acts: Faryl, Signature, Andrew Johnson, Escala, the girl and dog act. There were novelty acts in the semis but the 'good' acts were a decent standard -same with the next series where Diversity won.
