I'm no massive Amanda Holden fan but I'm not sure Jennifer Aniston is up there as one of the worlds greatest actresses either!! Take out Friends (which I love) & how many flops has she been in??? Just about everything she is in flops!!

In addition to her TV roles she was also in the West End production of Thorougly Modern Millie and was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress. She also performed on the Royal Variety Performance which is one of the main prizes for the winner of BGT.

Dislike her all you like but there is no way she doesn't have the credentials to judge this particular show.

I agree about Marley and Me but still wasnt it one of biggest opening weekends in US history? Why, I really dont know. Along came Polly, Bruce Almighty, The Break-up, were all big films. She plays the same character in most films, personally I thought The Good Girl was one of her better films but it didnt do so well at cinemas.
She may not be the worlds best actress but she's very famous for her tv role in Friends (and some films), compared to Amanda where people struggle to come up with any tv shows she's been in.. some people may remember programmes she was in but really she became famous as 'Les Dennis's Wife'. Sad but true.

I think some people just don't like her and rather than come out with the moronic "I don't like her" there is the search for some aspect of her life/personality/appearance that can be got at.

Amanda does tend to play herself in everything she does, but did like her in cutting it. I like Amanda, but some say she used Les, but after seeing him on big brother, I think she needed a medal to last that long.

It amused me to note that when the judges came on last night, the cameraman started at Amanda`s feet and panned up her legs and body to her top - oddly enough didn`t do that for the male judges.
