Leon and Zoe the claws are out.

No pun intended.

They are fairly bitchy and seem to be undermining Glenn to cover their arses.

Er eheh don't think so.

Glenn the PM was being undermined by Leon and Zoe? Especially Zoe and her entitled rant about respect being two way. Fine it is two way but at some point as PM you have to acquiesce to your PM.

ETA: or are you talking to the guy above you?:P

It was not a big argument. The sub teams just did not like each other's ideas and made that known. Difference with Glenn's sub team is that he did all the talking about this and Edna/Sue stayed quiet.

If Tom had been more like Glenn, Zoe or Leon the may not have gone with the ill-fated Everydog idea which was panned by the experts, although in fairness to Tom he did not get told about the opinions of the focus group. They still worked together for the majority of the task well. Leon got a bit paranoid about the presentation and seems to want to be moddycoddled but I would not say they had the claws out for Glenn.

They did acquiesce. I'm on Zoe's side, again, because although Glenn did steer his team in the right direction, his actual words fully deserved to be laughed at. He wasn't demanding obedience, he had that, he was demanding respect, which he hadn't earned.

In some ways it was similar to Zoe berated Susan last time, in that the PM seemed to be calling up the team member just to give them grief. The difference was, Susan had underperformed and Zoe had some hope of getting Susan to improve her sales. Glenn wasn't asking for anything concrete, just respect, and Zoe hadn't underperformed, just given him feedback he didn't like.

I did wonder while watching this episode if it was before or after this task that Zoe and Glen realised they liked each other. I'm finding it hard to imagine where their connection could be.

I'm not sure if Leon had claws out as such, he just seemed slightly paranoid that he was being set up for a fall (which I don't think Glen was doing...he prob just didn't trust one of the girls' with the pitch, esp Edna after seeing her last one lol).

I think Zoe is horrid. Some of it might be to do with her grating voice, which I know is unfair. However the way she relates to other team members is dispicable.

She was right to have words with Suzie last week and say what she did about respect this week but the way she delivered those lines would make me not want to work with her in the real world. She could have made her disappointment known to Suzie to put her in the firing line but then she should have tried to motivate her to do 'one last push'. To get other team members behind her so it was 'on record' was vile and reeked of bullying even if her original point was sound.

And don't forget the three of them laughing at that woman with the Cat and then doing the same to Glenn, and then hanging up on him when he called back!

Doesn't really matter if he was setting him up or not; Leon had been given the task and it was up to him to do it as well as he could.

I think Zoe's words to Susan were pointless. Susan's mistake had been made, and couldn't be changed, and she was trying her best to sell. All Zoe achieved was to make Susan feel defensive.
