Jim and Natasha boardroom showdown would be great
DUNDEEBOY

I think these are the two toughest candidates a boardroom showdown with them would be the highlight of the series for me.

However I actually think these two will be the final, they are tough and its not an apprentice he wants this time

It'd be like a little yappy Terrier squaring up to a massive Irish wolfhound.

It would be, she would bring him in, but I am not so sure he would do the same.

What did he say to her when she returned? I missed it but I think it was probably most significant towards the rest of the series

I don' t know, she might be a tough cookie (in appearance) but I think we can all see now (if hadn't before) that Jim doesn't admit to anything and will be a hard person for even soneone like her to face in th boardroom. He didn't even want to say "yes" to coming up with the name when Karen asked him if he did and so if Karen (one of Lord Sugs advisers) doesn't scare him then Natasha ain't gonna have much to say against him (even if she does). I think it's likely she go out to him unless Sugar has made up his mind about him going anyway.

That their contributions to the task had been equal.

It's sort-of true, but they lost. Natasha can be proud of her advert, but I'm not sure Jim what can be proud of there.

Haha true. Natasha would require a LOT of intercession from LS, else Jim would make her look so very bad.

I think Natasha will lead him into a trap though, let Jim talk himself out of it,

Personally not agreeing with the sentiment that Natasha is a tough cookie. She's mouthy and calculated, the sort of person who says one thing to your face and another behind your back. But that does not make you good (or tough) in buiness. I have met plenty of tough cookies in business who are good people, you can be tough but nice, the main thing is that your are honest. She won't get the better of Jim in the boardroom unless (and has been said) LAS intervenes in her favour.

I am ambivalent towards Jim. His card has certainly been marked but will he get to the final? Genuine question.

Natasha is very smart and careful with her comments, whereas Jim shows his arrogance (like claiming to be the cavalry) and Sugar is just waiting to pounce on statements like that.

But Jim only came up with EveryDog after Vincent had decided it had to be all generic and had already shouted down one objection to anything else.

So why is everyone sticking it as Jim's idea when in reality it really was Vincent who came up with the fatally flawed idea?

Also - the EveryDog idea sucked, but Natasha didn't do anything with the name or branding in the advert, and instead focused on some vague generic tagline. Had their marketing been approved, she would've been pulled up for marking her ad completely unrelated and could've been for any dog food.

Jim would eat Natasha alive in the boardroom. Unless LS interceded in her defence, as others have pointed out.

A "massive Irish wolfhound" that always looks on the verge of tears when questioned.

Says who? Take a look back at the likes of Katie Hopkins and Tre Azam and Jim looks, by comparison, like an indignant little boy in the boardroom.

Just because spineless toffs Leon and Vincent were swooning over him doesn't mean he's some kind of untouchable. I doubt any of the remaining candidates (except Helen and, obviously, Leon) would have trouble matching him in the boardroom.

I'm not saying he's untouchable, it's just Natasha tends to have nothing to say until the boardroom, which is a bad trait in this competition. Those people tend to be on the end of a verbal arse-kicking.

Edna would have trouble too!
