is so much better. I know America's a far bigger country but still.
I think there's a lot less exec manipulation and they put more of the best acts. Here it's safe and tailored for the british public. I mean 2 dog acts in a final, seriously?

This is just a good season so far. In the past they've often put through some horrible acts, just for controversy (or because the live audience ate it up). They've also pushed their chosen ones quite a few times.

The current season being relatively "straight" so far may only be temporary, or it could be a reaction to people bitching about previous seasons having a lot of hijinks/wacky picks/manipulation.

But yes. The potential talent pool being more than 5 times the size does yield a result.
